  2. is there a thread for hidden ester eggs? like the one mentioned above with axl's super? i know for JO if u pause early enough u'd see him toss a bottle up and and slicing it in half when u do ensenga but thats about it.. lo.
  3. uh.......i dunno what rtsd is but for sure he is doing doggy bite stuff in the corner. thanks for the feedback on the pot matchup. lo how could something as simple as jumpin hs have so much mixup behind it.. scary :D
  4. sup guys, i need some tips against O' pot. i know for this match up one should play keep away with far slash and jump slash but if i got knocked down by him during any time i dunno how to get him off me... ie. he'd trip me then do a j.hs or j.s as oki.. is there any way around it beside FDing hoping that it'll keep him pushed far enough so he has no choice but to use some other normals instead of potbuster? so far the only thing that works for me is dead angle but yea.. i am open to any suggestions :D on another note, against zappa what does one do when he gets the dog or the ghost out? for me i try to sj and throw some dbfrc or hs and see if he get hit. ghost is such a pain compare to the dog now... for dog i try to throw 2 coin for cover when i rush in.. to hit the dog at the same time keep zappa in place for a mixup into throw. but i dunno what i am suppose to do except fd one-frame jump when the dog traps me in the corner. is it better to trade hit and get rid of the dog than to wait it out and possibly use dead angel to punish? thanks,
  5. dont do jackhound off ur blocked hs string, its very very punishable. also like frcJo suggested... try some other combination instead of hs coin hs coin x nth.. its good if u are looking for a CH to combo but then u still gotta play it safe and mix up ur strings from time to time. super is awesome...but dont abuse it and use it to punish recovering moves or occasionally as wake up super if u spot holes in ur opp's oki game. when u throw people in the corner u might wanna try something other than ksks e.. mabe string like ksksde or pks double jump s hs d e on char like faust or baiken.
  6. Faust does good against JO mainly because he can zone JO all day with items and his longer pokes... i think faust also have a very good AA.. at least this is what i felt when i played against local fausts~

  10. thanks a bunch. altho the sol player never attempted to do a wild throw this is nevertheless good learning material.. at least for the tk ensenga mixups he does. while JO is mcing away infront of sol, cant sol just do someting like 2d and CH him rit then?
  11. hi guys, what can one do when facing a sol that does gun flame frc, p, into wildthrow or p, into 2d rc combo mixups? or rather, which part of this blockstring can i IB to counter? so far i have had decent success mashing 2Ps but that can only go so far before the VVs come. thanks,
  12. against dizzy. i find that because i am so used to back dashing out of stuff i get tagged by her 5hs a lot. that thing has pletny of range so i guess the key is to be more patient and wait for her to throw out moves that have fast startup but bad recoveriese (ie 2h, hs) then counter with jh rc into sexiness.
  13. u cant. 5h is not jump cancellable. u can,however, do close 5s,5k (jump install),hs, into dbfrc. or even just 5k/5s ji into dbfrc if u are fast enough. for 6h..i think u just gotta be quick with the input.. i know it is jump cancellable...so mabe do it faster?
  14. also might wanna watch out for the spacing after the level 2. the deeper they land into ur 5k.. or 5s.. the longer it'll take for them to tech out, so experiment and figure out which range and position are ideal to land the combo... also if u are playing slash... its probably easier if u do the s version of lvl 2 mf instead of the k one.

  17. what about baiken's 6hs vs JO's 6h. on some occasions the 6h seems to go thru Jo's 6h animation which result into CH combo of death.

  22. i dunno.. i thought of something while playing against br... br's 5s is really good.. but mabe one can do 5k then dbfrc while br's back is in the corner and then mabe it'll CH and u can ji it to a nice one-hit corner combo. just some thoughts...
  23. yay stupid question thread. so i was reading a couple pages back about how ppl are scared to tech because of JO's throw.. now here comes the stupid part... how do u guys go about training air throws?
