A throw itself is pretty uncommon..
-
It's exactly what it sounds like. You kara cancel something in order to fall fast.
-
I thought Litchi was the only one who had a kara fast-fall? Who else can do it?

Well you're not losing anything from downloading it, It takes a few seconds, and you can delete it when you're done. He'll have more replays later. I saw a video on Youtube of Dora raping NoChun btw.
-
So, apparently, for that combo, you have to space the 5B so that after the haku you can hatsu and RiichiA right away. You also have to hit D the moment you JC the j.C. I was hoping this combo would be a bit more practical.
-
If you have XBL, NoChun is on the leaderboards. He has replays that you can download and watch/record.
-
Alright, thanks. I'll practice some more today and see if I can get it down. CMV3 nearly finished~
-
I can do the combo on Tager, but not on any other character, so I don't know if time has anything to do with it. The only thing I could speed up was the Hatsu after Haku, anyway. It wouldn't hurt to make a new thread specifically for combos. I should be finished with CMV3 by sometime tomorrow.

Alright guys i need some help, I've been transcribing CMV3, and I have already done quite a bit. Now that i have a written copy of most of the combos, i went into training mode to see if I could use any in my game. I decided to practice one of the riichi combos. 0:34 5B > 2C > ItsuuA > Kote623 > haku > hatsu > RiichiA > IppatsuA > Fj.C > 66 > 5C > j.BC > [D] > ]D[ > Staff1 > Fj.C > Staff2 > 6C > Tsubame > 6C > 3C - Done on Ragna. I can do the combo, but the second hit of tsubame whiffs. There are two possible reasons for it doing so. Proration got too high, or my spacing was off. I don't see how my spacing could be off, in the video the opponent is in the corner when he's hit by tsubame, I was in the corner when doing tsubame. The other possibility is proration was too high. Unfortunately in the video it doesn't show the first hit, but it HAS to be 5B, nothing else leads to 2C. Edit: Oh and the first hit can't be a counter hit, you would be able to see "counter" under the number of hits. Edit2: I can do it on tager

Ya I downloaded all the combo videos, i'm actually transcribing 3 ATM. I'll be doing prism next.
-
Why is it that there are only terrible or mediocre Litchi videos on Youtube. I wish some players on Dustloop would get a Capture card. Or even a camera... Why not me you ask? I don't even have online.
-
Odd, I recall reading that it can only be done off a a fresh Haku. Thanks for that and for the other staff less combo, would've never thought of it

I see your point, I guess it's back to the drawing boards . However, using KM on knockdown still has it's threats against certain characters.

Since no one has a definitive "best" way to hit an opponent during 13 orphans, I'll share with you my method. In the corner you do 6C > 6C > j.BC > Tsubame > 6C > 3C. That's if, for some reason, they didn't block the 13 orphans, then you go for max damage. If you mix them up with a 6A or 2B wait a bit and then 6C > j.BC > Tsubame > 6C > 3C. If you mix them Haku > Chun you do j.BC > j.BC > Tsubame > 6C > 3C. If you're midscreen and happen to hit with 13 Orphans do something like 6C > 6C > j.BC > 2B. If you mix them up with a 6A or 2B wait a bit and then 6C > j.BC > 2B. If you mix them Haku > Chun you do j.BC > j.BC > 2B. This is what I do, others can feel free to share. That true, but there aren't many opportunities in which you land a fresh haku. My combo however can start with 5B > 5C

Yes for some reason, if you're point blank with ItsuuB it will whiff, completely. It's pretty stupid
-
I recall that japanese combo video, prism, used an offensive burst to get rid of the opponents barrier.
-
Nu isn't scary. A 720 is scary. Girl with swords, not so much.
-
Well guys after a good long day with Litchi I can honestly say I think I've overcome the plateau i've been on for a while. Perhaps tomorrow I'll transcribe some of those Japanese combo videos. Unless it's been done already? I really want to learn some of those fancy super combos.
-
If you get a ItsuuB CH you should be comboing to 6C or maybe her 3Dragons if you have meter to Rapid cancel. I'm pretty sure that's all it can combo into. After the first hit, before it spins around. Edit: you can also TKchun after ItsuuB. Today is a great day for TKchun...

If you don't mind using 50% heat (it's not like you can freely 13 Orphan all the time anymore because of Super flash buffering) you can do something like Haku > Chun > Hatsu > RC > j.C > 5C > j.BC > 5C > j.BC > Dj.[D] > ]D[ > Falling C > Tsubame > 6C > 3C for like 4k Damage. If you mix them up after the Haku it does 3.9k. Just something for my fellow ]M[ <3ers. Edit: some more RC stuff. 6A[M] > Haku > Chun > RC > 5B > Tsubame > j.BC > Dj.[D] > ]D[ > Staff1 > falling C > Staff2 > 6C > Tsubame > 6C > 3C. I think i saw a Japanese player do this in a video. Deals 3369 damage. Edit2: fiinneee.

Dont tsubame and 5B if they back dash...Or dash at them and 5A/grab. Or you can ItsuuB and hope for a counter hit. I think that's about it.
-
It's still possible to be out of range for itsuuC to connect even if you're in the corner. I'm not telling you to use it, it's just another combo you have at your disposal. edit: JC is jumpcancel jC is jumping C. And never mind you cannot miss ItsuuC in the corner . But hey how come you don't use Riichi combos since they do more damage than Itsuu combos?
