True. Looks like the new Chicago thread is a bit more organized, so I'll see if I can make it out to a BB-meet some weekend, if they get added to the front page, or if someone sends me a PM at least. Would definitely be great to get some live matches going every now and then. Sadly, my work is kinda crazy right now, so I don't have a lot of time other than quick online matches. Aside from occasional games, I don't think I can make any real effort towards the scene until work quiets down.

Yeah but you know there is a slight GG/BB scene in the Chicago area, and the more people that just lurk will never join the scene makes our scene look pitiful. =/

Sorry, didn't see this until now. Yeah, I've looked on occasion, but it seems like it's mostly SF4? So many postings that it's hard to follow.

Just to point it out, Sol can never use Gun Flame in pressure if Johnny has level 2 MF, and that helps Johnny out alot. Also, if Sol dash breaks Johnny's normal pokes, Johnny will have the advantage through MC/coin. And on the flipside of dashing in/guessing is the fact that if the Johnny player guesses right, it'll hurt. And this part is true against any fast characters. I don't really know what the final matchup is, but it's not all bad for Johnny.

Should add that against lighter characters, if the opponent is further away, you can do kamae (mist stance) dash canceled jack hound, it is a couple of frames faster (well, the speed is lost when you use time to dash) and has a longer untechable time than the normal kamae jack hound. The input is 236(delay alittle)63214H. The trick is to get the second 6 to initiate the dash and then cancel it into jack hound. EDIT: And yes, I believe it works from all distances in the corner.
