  9. Anyone going to the arcade tomorrow?
  10. Makoto's attack where she rolls on the ground and does a low hit(assuming its a 3c attack?) goes under a number of your standing normals. Drives me fucking nuts.
  11. I will be there. Prepare for lolololololol tager mirrors.
  12. I might try to make it next week also. Skipping class ftw.
  13. Jack G will still be the moderator for the Hakumen forums following the showcasing of his mad Hakumen skillz at sb4.
  14. Name: Ryan a.k.a. Tuna Location: cincinnati Contact info: aim: TheReallyBigTuna Mains: in BB in GG, though I haven't really played much since reload, so I suck Chun-li and Dan in SFIV Other games: Will glady play lots of older fighting games like JoJo's, Project Justice, Third Strike and the like
  15. Highly tempted to skip class and go. I haven't taught anyone about the power of science lately.
  16. I'm pretty sure we could have had someone pick Dizzy for you and tape down the hardslash button on the controller. It would of been just like having you there at the ranbats.
  17. If they are magnetized, right after the air throw is teched, press drive. You will land before the jumping d animation finishes, but it will none the less pull them towards you while you are both still in the air.. Buffer 720 during the jumping d, land 720. Not certain how the timing works out, if they have enough time to start jumping right as they land, or if its guaranteed 720. If you know they are going jump, you can always just atomic collider reset.
  18. Wiff 720, start buffering 720 holding the whiffed one. 720 them again when they go to punish the first one. Hilarious, but actually got it to hit in a match once.

  20. Well, I obviously can't speak for Mike, but its really you're only option to get in. Sledging when she is out its range is just asking to get murdered. Even when you absorb projectiles going through it, you will still usually get hit in the recovery. That leaves jumping and walking as your only two options to get in. Jumping is the least terrible of your two terrible options to get in.
  21. I try doing this all the time. I want it to work so bad. Jump, land within range where b sledge will hit, then B sledge. I occasionally can get the B sledge to come out in time, but usually I eat D projectile combo. I don't know the frame data, but I'm assuming there is a few recovery frames after you land.
  22. Drives me fucking insane.
  23. I don't know which normal it is, probably 2c or 2b in the air, the one where she drops straight down. Can you backdash this? Because by god, I've tried, and I get nailed everytime. The moves hitbox stays out forever. This move is a major part of her mix up, what should I be doing against it?
  24. I have two friends who are very good litchi players, so I have a fair ammount about the match up. You are going to have to show a lot of patience in this match up. But then again, this is tager, so you are going to have to do that a lot. Trying to simply get in there and pressure her will get you murdered. While she has her staff, she has huge range and her attacks will always stuff yours. Some of her attacks will also wall bounce on counter-hit, leading to a big combo. Because of this, obviously, she is going to try to zone you. If she is going to sit on the other screen and zone you, do the same. Wait for her to come to you. Try to backdash/instant block punish if she jumps at you. Her jumping b is a great cross up, so she will often iad at you with this attack. It can cross you up when you don't expect it. If she is doing this too much, I have had luck with tager's jumping c stuffing it into huge combo. Her jumping c with staff will fucking crush you though, so be careful about trying to beat her in the air. You obviously don't want to get in the corner. She has mad corner shenanigans. Try to tech out of her corner combos while in the air, not on the ground. Teching on the ground can lead to resets. If you tech in the air, you can barrier block the following attacks. Also, I found that in the corner(and elsewhere), litchis often do a dp after 6c. You can backdash the dp and 360/720 her if they do this too much. The other big concern is her dragon punch. ITS AMAZING. It will beat everything you do(except sledge), and she can combo afterwards for lots of damage. It is very hard to pressure her while she has the dp. Also, you 720 and she dps at the same time, the dp will beat out the 720. I've had it happen multiple times, I was quite sad. Be patience and try to get her seperated from her staff, then you can fucking destroy her. Without her staff, her normals don't have near as much priority and she can't dp. If you are pressuring her and you expect the dp coming, you can sledge through it and counterhit into big soviet combo. This is dangerous though, if she expects the sledge, any of her normals will stuff it. Its much safer to wait for her to dp, then sledge through the dp as the staff is coming down. She will be able to block the sledge, but as she seperated from the staff, you can start to pressure her without worry.
