Thanks alot for the tips everyone. I really like her style, and have always been a sucker for characters who fight with staffs. I believe I overthink placing the staff and recalling it and focus way too much on it. That is my number one problem.

When do you start up her straight through? It seems like it has to be really predictive due to its long startup.

Hey everyone, I have read through this forum and the 'What's a Litchi?' post extensively, but I need some help with my basic Litchi play. I can win a majority of matches with Jin who I learned first, but since picking up Litchi have felt, for lack of a better term 'spastic'. I have only been playing for 3 days and wasn't blessed with being in a state with a decent arcade around so I just have absolutely no skill with her. I feel that other than occasionally IBing into a Tsubame Gashi then recalling into Shishin I don't have any real offense and need some very basic tips. How do you start some good offensive strings? Do you plant the staff first, or start then plant. I'm not talking specifically combos, but the very most basic offensive principles. Thanks in advance for the assistance.
