  2. Hey guys (and gals?) I was wondering if anyone had been trying to squeeze FRKZ into anything other than pre daifunka? I was thinking that in a situation where you will gain 4 seals and 50% heat during a combo, mid combo FRKZ activation into followups (6a 6c 9dash j.b 6dash j.d ect.) would be a nice alternative to using 623b/whatever -> daifunka (if the daifunka won't kill). My problem is im not sure if it can really be done. I was trying 2d, j.d, \/, FRKZ, 2b/6a, 6c, air combo of choice. I could get the 2b to connect, but never the 6c. I have terrible execution, so I don't really trust my own failure as it not being possible. Anyways, I guess most importantly im wondering if people consider this practical to begin with. It's theoretically less damage than using daifunka, but more than a heatless combo and gets you into FRKZ (plus flashy as hell, gotta love that). Thoughts?
  3. Im a dedicated faust in GG, so I didn't really have an obvious char to transition playstyles into. I figured I would go for arakune and gave him a solid try, but I honestly hated using those bugs and wandered aimlessly around the cast till seeing (and hearing) FRKZ for the first time.... (BANG!, BANG! BANG! BANG!, and so on) After graduating from just trying to FRKZ all day I really started enjoying his relentless pressure, so he stuck.
  4. How are bumpers in this matchup? Ive been having a lot of arakune trouble, and I was mostly trying to snag them out of the air since they don't seem to stay on the ground long enough for me to catch em. Sounds like most of you guys advocate staying low and playing the waiting game, but I was thinking 7, 8, and 9 dashes off of bumpers might let you get up there and knock them down, or better yet command grab. I suck with bumpers atm so I can't trust my results to tell me much, any thoughts?
