  1. Oh wow, the changes to IB really changes the whole meta of the game. You can't just mash falling axe assist in reaction to their burst to still hit them now. Also being able to burst once IB effect ends is also pretty huge as well. Properly baiting out burst is gonna be a thing now. Of course they didn't say anything about increasing the invul frames if it doesn't hit or the active frames either so dping through burst is probably gonna be just as effective. Also They nerfed Mora's damage... Wonder if 13k combos are still gonna be possible. Also the buffs to Saya look good for her, but I am actually really confused by by Al Buffs. She seemed super good to me... weird.

  5. My thoughts on those videos. The ending on that Hikaru vs Kagari was awesome. Her space ninja command dash reeks of awesomeness. I think ciela's dash goes through projectiles or some move of hers. She looks like a really annoying zoner. Cerebus is hilarious with this engrish. Vein and Hermes look high tier to me. Cthylla gots traps yo Catherine has a super that can't be stopped even if you get hit out of it. And you can combo with it still. Catherine looks like a combo beast to me. You can aim one of cait & sith's supers with the arcade stick. That is pretty cool. Rui has some cool rush down but Bravo is the best grappler ever.
  6. ^this. Though I wish I had a psp. I wish I could I play psp games on my ps3, that would so awesome. Possibly the first fighting game where I seriously want to play the main character.
  7. Oh good, I was just wondering about this game the other day. Glad to see that it hasn't just disappeared. They need to update their main website more with stuff so I don't get scared like this all the time.

  10. That video made me laugh. They show all those characters doing these combos and then Fiona comes on and she is like, "LOL GIANT SWORD SUPER." I want to play this game. Guess my ps3 has a reason to exist now till it comes out here for the xbox.
  11. You can 3C under lambda's 5C And her swords, he shouldn't be able to do 236C after 6C unless you are in the air. Unblockable anti-airs can be blocked using barrier. Approaching is hard with makoto, especially against zoners so watch for any patterns he might do that you can take advantage of. 214C could be your friend if you just barrier block on the way down so he can't hit you out of anything. Just be careful. They can only back dash so long until they hit the corner.
  12. So 3C goes under hakumen's 5A, 5B, 4C, and if you go 3C on reaction, 6C. He can hit you out of it using 6C if he waits a bit, but there's a good chance you can zip by him for the counterhit. 3C is my hero in this match-up. I still can't figure out a good way to react to airdash >j.C for some reason. Can't you block it and throw for the counter?
  13. Still can't do Makoto's #9, the J.CC at the very end just wiffs the second hit everytime. And I have been practicing it ALL DAY.... Grr. And yes. I am super-jumping.

  19. So. This game looks pretty sweet. When I get back to my house on wedenesday, I'll have to download this. I want to try Corona and Alicephia first. They look/sound fun/interesting. Yeah.
  20. Charging from afar? Nope. Her steins shoot lasers when they are summoned, so all that will end happening is you getting hit with the lazer spam. 2D might be fast enough, but Mu could just summom the steins and use them as cover to rush you down. I wouldn't recommend it personally. About her defense and health: Mu has 10k health so it isn't all that good. That is about 5 chargeless bnb combos so no charge rushdown is viable, though I would try and get that 1 charge just in case.
  21. Okay. I believe that this is going to be a bad match-up for tsubaki. Well big deal since most hers are anyways. I believe it is around 6-4 or 6.5-3.5 Mu's favor. This is because of her laser/cross-up pressure and a lack of a good way to get around it. Example Time! This is the most effective strategy of Mu that I have seen so far. When the Mu player had the stein positioned around the ragna, it was very easy to set up for the cross-up. Now rhe ragna could have dp'ed out of that situation, but that is the problem. Tsubaki doesn't have a good dp. The only move that I can think of that would help is 236D, but that costs charge and getting charge is going to be hard in this match-up because if Mu gets her steins set up, it is bad news for Tsubaki. This means that Mu players are going to be watching for it. Though that can work both ways though via mind games. It might make the setup not look so good if the tsubaki player has a charge saved. The only way I see this going well is if the tsubaki player does rushdown like no other and goes for the oki on ground combos. I can maybe see charging for up to one charge after an air combo finish, so you can get charge but still have time to keep some pressure up on Mu, but that is entirely speculation. I might suggest trying to throw in the unsafe charge blockstrings to try and get that 1 charge, but hey it is risky. We should also watch out for Mu's chargeup attack since it can break 3 guard primers. Going on the defense is a big no-no since Mu has the potential be the best guard breaker in the game. So the short story is, be super agressive and don't let Mu set up her steins and tsubaki has a chance of winning.

  23. Tsubaki no Sasayaki reminds me of Megaman Legends 2. Smooth Jazz is usually always good. I'm just going to subscribe and be happy.
