  1. I'm doing Carl's challenge mode missions, and I'm already stuck. Challenge mission #4: 2A, 5B, 2B, 5C, 6]D[, (66) 2A, 5B, 2B, 5C, 6]D[ I'm not understanding where to place the actual 6]D[ command so that it combos. Looks like I need to do this around 2B, 5C part, but it's seems so overtly complicated that I'm thinking there's gotta be an easier way that I'm just not seeing. I've been looking around Carl threads, and there is a similar ground combo from the CT combo thread, but that hasn't given much hint on when to actually time the release. I mean, is it just really quick 2B, 6]D[, 5C? I either delay the 5C too much and drop the combo, or I release D too soon without inputting the direction (so she just deactivates).
  2. I'm having major difficulty on Litchi's mission 5 part 2. It's asking me to perform a loop of "5C, (JC), j.B, j.C, 66, 5C". All staffless btw. I can't get the 66, 5C part to hit. Is it just really strict timing? Is there a way to delay the j.C so that I can be closer to the ground or something?
  3. I'm having a real difficulty with Ragna's mission 7 combo. Not only do I enjoy trying to complete challenge mode, but it seems that it's a rather useful combo in matches, too! 623C -> 236C -> 236C, 5B, 6A, (HJC), j.C, j.D, (JC), j.C, 214C, 3C I'm having trouble landing 5B, 6A. Not so much the 5B, but the 6A that follows. It whiffs very often. On rare occasions that I do land the 6A and go on with the air combo, 214C seems to hit the dummy in a weird way so that he can tech out. I'm figuring I'm not figuring out the minute spacing know-how for this combo. The computer demonstrations help, but it has too perfect of spacing and timing that I found out it's sometimes best to ask others. Oh, and finally, I do notice that there should be a delay after 623C for 236C -> 236C. I heard some say delay before each follow-up. I heard delay only before the last follow-up. I've been delaying both. Is there a significant difference?
  4. A quick question. Whenever I perform B+C -> f inverse (or "C" Dist. Drive), I seem to always have the dummy fall behind me. I noticed this while I was doing the first combo in Arakune's challenge mission #5. The computer demonstration has Bang fall on the same side (or to the right of Arakune), but I would always get Bang to fall on the left side of Arakune. What am I doing differently that's causing this?
  5. Hi, I hope this is the correct place for requesting help on challenge mode's combo missions. I LOVE the challenge mode. I gives me hell, but I really enjoy playing it. I'm stuck on #7 of Mu-12's mission: 2C, 9, 66, j.C, j.2C, [land, 66, 2B,] 5C, 6C, 2D, j.B, j.C, jc, j.C, j.2C. I'm clueless as to how to land the part enclosed in the bracket. I'm not sure if I'm not dashing into 2B fast enough or if the height of my earlier j.C, j.2C is incorrect.
  6. I enjoy watching Hazama matches, and I noticed that Hazama's "vertical kick" distortion was used in some combos. From what I can gather, this particular distortion itself does rather low damage relative to other character's distortions. The plus side being it has fast start-up and invincibility on start-up (or soon after), so it can be good for getting out of sticky situations. What I don't understand is why it is used in combos. I can't tell too well from grainy match videos, but the damage seems comparable to regular BnB air combo he does, so why the decision use up the distortion guage?
  7. I'm having the same difficulties. Could someone be so kind as to help a newbie out, please?~
