  1. any help please? it changes when you use ouroboros, but even when it's at zero you can still use it and it just goes back to 2. or at least it seems so. if this was in a faq, sorry, i couldn't find it

  3. Let's look at that statement this way. 1/4 of the cast is too powerful (3). 1/6 is too weak (2). 1/2 is fair(6). 1 depends on an infinite. (though, I forget his name, one Carl mainer is fantastic using all of his other tools) errmmm. Doesn't look quite as good. And when you look at all the matchups in the tournament, a huge percentage had one person as a top 3 character. That's sort of sad, but the good thing is they didn't always win because the top 3 aren't way way above the others, and frankly, this is a fighting game and it's pretty much guaranteed not to be perfect.
  4. QFT. This was nothing special. Well, at least a Nu didn't win. I would've like more character variety too.

  6. I have another question, are those numbers on hit or block? Because most numbers are negative, but wouldn't that mean the opponent always wakes up first, preventing combos? Looks like I have some reading to do tonight
  7. can someone explain what these numbers are? What are the positive and negatives in comparison too. From what I'm getting, negative is bad, it seems like if a move has a negative it takes a while for it you to recover leaving you open for attack (like a blocked hell's fang or something). but can someone explain the numbers a bit more in depth please.

  9. thanks, I was just making sure my controller was good. Figured it was a gameplay thing, but wanted to be safe. And after practicing it for a while, I'm able to get the 6a to connect. i can do a lot of the air combos, but I have a hard time running the 5b, 5c, 5d (2 hit), dash, 6a, j, jc, jd, jc ,JD, inferno divider, 236c, 214c to finish to completion. Usually my second drive attack in the air misses because my character is too low (I capitalized it in the chain). I just need to practice it more.

  11. does anyone else have a hard time with the 5b, 5c, 5d (2 hit), dash, 6a.... combo. Whenever I dash forward, Ragna stops dashing automatically after a little bit and I don't get why. Does this happen to anyone else? i know you can follow with the dash real quick and still get the opponent before he stops, but why does he stop and not do his normal really fast forward dash running all you want.
  12. QFT. I think about subbing as nu or jin, but it seems cheap to me. I don't think Jin is as bad, but I'm still reluctant to use him a lot. Considering it would be my sub atm, I don't really care too much.
  13. I'm new to fighting games so I picked Ragna because he is pretty straight forward. As I get more experienced I'll pick a sub and possibly a new main, but I'm having a hard time deciding, because I worry too much about picking a cheap character, and I know I should play as who I want and not care at all.
