  1. wait, I've been trying to follow along but I give up. Are you guys trying to argue that tiers exist? or that tiers don't matter? cuz they both can be true but don't exactly mean the same thing. Hi dustloop.

  4. in #R the dolphin comes out way too fast to 6p on reaction... the best bet for beating out dolphin with 6p is if u IB the last hit in a groundstring right and 6p the dolphin from that. even then the timing is iffy and thats assuming u know which string that may's gunna do. i think its easier to just block and force may to burn 25% to stay safe.
  5. MAy is pretty tough actually - the timing is harder cuz she floats so much and thus has an easier time teching out during a non-perfect Dloop. against may, just turtle. she has a tough time getting in. and be carful in teh corner. that whale is vicious when may's got her back to the wall.

  8. I just block 2d rather than trying to beat it out. FD pushes it out of range for any meaningful followup unless he it did it right in your face... The scary part about 2d isn't that he throws it out and u try to beat it when it does, but rather that he can cancel into 2d from a regular move that you just tried to sakura counter - so I figure stop spamming counters against sol and he'll stop spamming 2d against you. or Vipers, which is the response to the p counter if he's expecting it RK loses wakeup lvl3 ground missile against baiken. RK wins this matchup still because of his other strengths but at least his oki isn't as good against baiken. but u can say that about any char's oki >_>

  10. don't run away from dizzy... because u can't. Dizzy has a crappy 6p and very little defense once u get in. take advatnage of those facts and watch out for her throws. 6k.

  12. except for the fact that when you zone well, its easier to take control of the match that way. zoning and footsies against pot is prob. the best way to control that match - its the same way with sol. Zoning is all about not letting the other person get in so im not sure what your point was when u said that lettin pot in on you is dangerous. I agree; therefore zone him. When u rush him down, its a very quick change from getting in and being having pot be in. if u mess up the rush down and whiff something to a backdash, or if he IB's something, or if u miss the frc/RC on something he'll pot buster you and its a knockdown for you while pot's right on top.

I don't know the level of skill that you and your friends play at... the ppl down here in socal will do that shit to u consitantly and not miss it 8/10 times as u claim. rushing down pot with baiken is dangerous - one predicted move leads into an IB or a backdash into pot buster, and even if he messes up, its pot and he'll live through it. against pot, its just best to zone and watch out for random hammerfall cancels and that one move where he falls down.
