Probably casual. I always try to get good at games I play but I didn't exactly even know there was a scene for it back in the day. I just played with my friends as much as I could and whenever other people would play it. I was pretty much the best in my area or best as far as people I'd play. I could never figure out how wavedashing worked. I always liked Smash, but I still have a hard time thinking of it as a real fighting game. It's not Street Fighter 2. I think even the competitive environment is casual in comparison probably. :P There's still a large gap between a "competitive" player and someone who doesn't know what they're doing though. I was always interested in finding more players to play. I knew as soon as I heard that Brawl would have online that it would be unplayable because of all the split second shit I have to pull off when I play :P Too bad it turned out it wasn't just the netplay that was unplayable. Who did you use? I also used Mewtwo.
