I can't even play on my main account for this game. I've been using my friend's account to troll ranked x-x

By "current one" do you mean the [9~2] loops or do you mean the method posted on the front page? The ones posted on the front page are considered to be the easiest methods and are doable in the corner. The [9~2] method, however, needs to be pulled back to 1 at the last second to work half the time. I might make a video concerning this, but I've been busy with school and haven't been able to play at all.

That IK setup is so cool. I want to see someone post a video on that because it's quite intricate. I'd do it myself but I'm about to leave on a trip for 5 days. If by the time I get back that isn't done, I'll put together a video myself! See you guys in 5 days! Looking forward to the new gimmicks I get to find out!~

I just 100% killed a Naoto with j.D Garu > (2A > 5B > Sweep > D. Garu)x2 > 2A > 5B > 5C > 2C > B. Bufu > Mind Charge > AOA > OMC > COFFINZ. Sent me a message about no skill required to play Elizabeth. I giggled. Also the j.D Garu starter was in the corner. The 2A > 5B after the D. Garus can connect if you learned to do the [9~2] Garu loops before we discovered the easier methods, just pull back to 1 instead of 2 and you'll back up enough for the 5B to connect coming back, too. Also you MUST pull back because if you sweep wrong the opponent can also go over your head. But still. 8.2k damage.

I played some games today on my friend's account. Named Daninator. GG got B+ rank and was like lolwut, I don't even this game very well. And then proceeded to rage at the bad spamming people did.

I use palette 8. Because purple.

If you know the exact proration of your moves and what will not connect (I.E. Playing a lot of games) there's actually a point after SB.Zio here the 2nd part of the 5C will NOT connect. And if you opponent techs you can actually do a 5D and catch them. Here

Keep in mind that it's 1500 HP you gain in awakened mode. In awakened mode you take only about 62.5% or so damage. So for 50 meter, which is relatively easy for Elizabeth to get, she gets much more survivability. And she'll mathematically have more HP than someone with the 9500 average HP. So it's pretty good.

It pretty much depends on what you do before the whole combo and how you decide to finish. Like stated above, just go into training mode and practice with CH and non-CH and see what connects. Use every possible combo and setup you think you'll use and figure out the extend of the combo you can do. Usually if you're unsure you can almost always do at least 1 D.Garu on normal thanatos grab and an opponent hit in the air with 5B. SB.Garu > D.Garu will land on normal hit as long as you don't do something like 2A > 5AA > 5B > Sweep. The 2A > 5B catch at the end of the D.Garu might be harder to connect so a 5A > 5C would be safer on normal hit.

You will always struggle because you must make the least mistakes in an even match. It's very sad. High risk high reward characters are always so much... "fun" :D

That's actually really useful. I was attempting to OMC 5C earlier when I was messing around in training mode and was like "Damn, this can't be OMC. There goes all these options I was thinking of using!" So now it turns out I can use them. Good stuff good stuff.

I saw an Elizabeth doing 2C > C.Agi as well. I believe that has more hitstun than 5C does. I'll test it when I get back home later tomorrow.

Elizabeth has a number of tools that make it so she's not in that bad of a situation close range against kanji. Mainly 2B > j.B is a much better option against Kanji than 5B because it makes you throw invincible. At the same time Kanji can't just throw out moves because he has to respect Elizabeth's midscreen Thanatos game to an extent. Having Kanji on the absolute other side of the screen could make it dangerous if you get hit by his lightning into electric not being able to move stuff. It's not about not letting Kanji get close, it's about not letting Kanji get IN. Mainly it comes down to your confidence against the PLAYER not the character but the player. Can this player get in on you through your pressure. Do you know he can? Etc etc. Elizabeth is a character that has a gameplan. If that gameplan involves bringing Kanji close then all you need to do is plan for what he can do against you at that range.

There's a sorta gimmick I found here that can be done if you use Agi. You OMC after landing Agi on a blocking opponent and then walk up for mixup. This is pretty standard but people might not realize you can OMC it, as well as the fact that if you use SB.Agi the flames going forward actually conceal Elizabeth to an extent. If a move is landed during Agi keep in mind that the opponent will launch. Example

That's what I've been doing. My inputs have always been pretty sloppy so I am just not timing it right sometimes, plus I want to do it quickly so that there's no openings in it. I'm sure with some practice I'll get it down, though. It's just weird because the only time I've buffered a forward and then button press forward again input was like back in guilty gear to do airdash roman cancel combos. And i was bad at those too!
