  1. Well i said j.HS> ABR(1)FRC because its a good oki option and 25% isnt that much... much better than any other normal aerial for that matter... but yeah, you could land to get a GV combo... but meh... i like flashy/useful combos
  2. i dont know if anyone had tried this but it could be used as a okizeme to combo strat... the combo is like this: j.HS(1*)>ABR(1)FRC>j.S or j.D>SW loop *Depending on your height and timing you can do both hits
  3. or you could just turn the bgm and voices off just to listen the "romantic"
  4. hey guys... what about this combo: 6H>BB>GV(CL)>j.D>SWloop it does 220 dmg+ i havent perfected yet because im testing how many SWs i can fit in there but i think a decent amount will do at least 250-260 dmg... the only problem about this combo is landing 6H but if you can make it then its very easy and rewarding...
  5. Hey guys, i dont know if you are ok with it or the mods are ok with it but i was thinking about doing a new video thread with every video posted in here and the videos that will be posted in the other thread in the first post. I think this thread is kind of unorganized because all are videos in different posts and pages and it would be easier if they were all in the same place. ill start as soon as i get a yes from the mods.
  6. Taokaka loves to grab you, they have an amazing grab range so be careful about that cause they have good damaging combos out of it, try to keep blocking low and just check out for the overheads. Try 5C as a long range poke cause they love to crouch and crawl. They tend to mix it up with the air/ground approaching with their drives so try not falling for it and keep an eye on the distortion drives cause they are quite fast, specially the pounce.
  7. Practice your BnB combos and your block strings... a lot. Every hit counts. try to practice the matchups you're not very used cause you'll probably run into one of those. Try to keep doing things thinking and not by muscle memory and try to mix it up a lot. Its also useful to practice throw releases on reaction. And just keep it cool, ragna is indeed a straightforward character but rushing mindlessly is not going to make things better.
  8. ive got a nice setup for air grabs, its kind of a 1 time o 2 times in a match max but it works, what you do is throw in a 6A(make sure it hits) and jump with them, and instead of following up with the air combo you just wait for them to recover and air grab. After air grab you have 3 options for more damage. First, you can gauntlet hades. Second, you can airdash and j.C j.D ID and third, air dash and grab again(this only works if the opponent is not paying attention). For ground grabs i try to grab them when they roll or in dash cancel mix ups or after wiffed DPs/slow recovery moves. EDIT: whats a tick throw?
  9. Im kinda experienced in this matchup because my main training buddy is a jin. First, always punish his ice cars, IB or just block them but try not to barrier them specially if is in a block string cause they will get to far for 5B to reach them. If they dash cancel, punish them too... they will try to do it some times and its totally unsafe if they are not a maximum reach. Keep your guard down as much as you can, just watch out for the overheads, which are very slow. try to keep them in 5B range cause thats your safe spot. Always keep pressure and dont give them any space to breath. For aproaching, IAD is a bad idea, they have too many anti air options/fast overdrives. Keep yourself grounded and ID them if they try the air aproach but do it sparringly, cause you dont want to be instant blocked a get punished. They have great pressure strings so try to barrier a lot and dont get too close to walls cause they have a very safe pressure string that will guard crush. Dont get randomly grabbed or frozen because that will cost you the match. The easiest way for ragna to win this matchup is to control the tempo, if you get that, then the match is yours.
