  1. Watching the various videos in this thread, but are there any ones showing high use of his new projectile counter?
  2. seems like they're making him faster, and removing his range which was one of his strenghts..
  3. so instead of a meter with 'health pts' for guard breaking, its stars now? and instead of taking it off bit by bit by guarding, certain moves just take off stars or not?

  5. its kind of nice its not that much different. have to wait to see how the new move actually works to actually comment on it. and yea.. sad face at the smaller jD blodkain..and 22C is also an ouch i think..its cutting it by half.. edit: what does it mean by 'damage from overhead is nerfed'?

  7. any tips on getting the delayed timing down to nail the ID - > into the 5C, 6A into air combo? is there a specific area or position u have to nail the inital ID at for it to work?
  8. i see. Didn't know barrier increases block stun. So then when should I use barrier then? I know in the air to avoid the anti-air moves. But how about ground combo strings?

  10. when shouldn't I be using barrier guard? as long as its not close to danger status, I don't really see why I would do a regular guard instead of barrier.
  11. question about RC combo. I seen it used alot in match videos. It goes like: 5B, 2B, 5C, 2C, HF (RC) 6D, 5B, 3C, 22C combo After the HF (RC), I'm having trouble connecting with the double 6D hit into the 5B, they end up being too far away from me. Is there a dash hidden somewhere between there I'm not seeing?
  12. some recent matches I had. I gotten a bit better. I can land some ground combos okay, still working on landing air combos more accurately. I seem to have a habit of doing empty hells fang when i'm on the other side of the screen because I'm not sure of how to approach safer, so I am trying to work on running-shield or air-dash->shield, but still not sure how to properly make use of it.   13. anyone have any tips on getting the timing for the ID -> 22C correctly?
  14. only time I ever use it is by mistake, and even when it hits, I'm not sure how to capitalize on it. On block, it seems to bad, Ragna swings it up to attempt a 2nd hit, and is wide open to just about anything. Only thing I found useful in training is that the after the first hit, its cancellable into a HF or D-ID for a quick 1600 damage. But if they block the first hit anyway, both options leave me even more open. If I wanted to use a quick mid-range low atk, 2D seems to be the better option. Also any tips on the use of jab a? Just neutral 5A. I'm using 6A alot obviously. But I'm seriously underusing 5A. In what situations is 5A good for?
  15. seems pretty reasonable. I think Tager is more 5.0 though. Does Arakune/Nu have any bad matchups?
