I got it working. Kairi(sp?) gave me a link to this site with all the possible problems if it wasn't working and after going through all of them it was a lens problem. So I followed the steps to fixing the lens and it actually worked

I guess this should be asked here since people have been talking about swapmagic. Ok, I got a burned copy of Slash yesterday and a few hours later I went to play it but it wasn't working. First i'd put in the dvd loader and then when the screen came up that said load program, i'd take it out and put the copy in. The screen would have a flash of red for maybe a second then it would either go black like it would load up but never pass that stage, or it would take me to the browser screen where I access a memory card or the disk, then it would say please put in a ps2 format disk.

I saw a video of who i believe was P.C(sol) on A-cho and I thought he had a really interesting laid back style Sol. Just recently got into the game and been playing Dizzy for the most part but also picked up Sol and looking for any P.C videos. Dunno if he's taped much but if anyone has any P.C videos it'll be greatly appreciated.

tribaL, it's called faultless defense. It decreases your tension but is another form of blocking. Except the opponent gets pushed back when you FD instead of normal blocking. Come to think of it, I have a question of my own. In GG is there chip damage, I don't think i've ever seen anyone get chip killed before...hm. Lol, is everyone talking that avatar now? I like it but stealing it is pretty fucked up.

MAS's are some big ass sticks. If your really set on getting a MAS but don't want to carry around that big heap of mass, get the MAS Mini model, which is basically the same just smaller. But if you want the best, a customs the only option. Mini MAS- http://www.alphaelectronics.us/pd_mas.cfm And if you want a bat top stick you could get the SFAC arcade stick and mod the buttons and stick. Or get the Tekken 5 stick, and just switch the ball to a bat(easier said then done though).

Thanks. Also, I'm thinking of trying out Anji in Slash, but wanted to know what exactly makes him have a longer/harder learning curve then others. Is he hard to control the match with? Do you have to be extremely consistent to play him well?

Guess this is a stupid question. Do any of the characters have any normals that will impossible an opponent when doing a air/dust combo. I'm playing Eddie and Dizzy, and maybe Anji or Robo-Ky in the future. I know about Dizzy's bubble but thats not a normal so yea. And i'm not talking about ID combos. Like if I'm doing a Dizzy aircombo and I finish with a bubble, they cannot tech, does anyone else have any normals that can do this......again, even though, the bubble isn't a normal.

To both of you Oh, on that revised GGtheGigs thing Sir Plus put up, I can't seem to download old files when I right click "save target as", it brings up some message. I'm downloading Flashget right now so hopefully that will fix this problem but if it doesn't I dunno why it won't work. Is it because those files are old and aren't hosted or what. I'm trying to download the final between the Venom and Dizzy players.

I tryed those links and if I just click on them then it brings up a media player to play them, but if I right click and save as I still can't see who's playing or who their playing. Do you have like a jap translator installed on your computer? Or maybe i'm just clicking the wrong links. I'm clicking the ones right beside a guy holding a trophy

Ok so I-no's a no. I really wasn't all that interested in her in the first place, (she only sparked my interest..a lil). I'm still hesitant to learn eddie seeing as he has so many moves and I can neg edge, but playing mostly Capcom fighters,it's not all that inportant. I think I'll go with May. She difficult or what?? I know she has charge moves which seems like a con since this game is so fast paced and moving around so much it would be harder to keep holding d,df,or db. I'll also keep Potemkin in mind. I live in MD so if I like him I'll go over Gwyrgyn Blood's house and learn (he just doesn't know it yet..hehe).
