  1. Hey everyone, I'm Jarv. Been interested in Junpei for the past few months and now that I'm finally able to play him I feel overwhelmed. There's a lot to learn! I am unsure what to learn first and how to prioritize goals with learning this character. I am stuck on the FC 2D challenge, so I decided to work on learning beginner combos from Xie's combo video. I'm having trouble doing 5AA j.B j.A 5A consistently, and I can't get 2C h.B. It got me thinking, "are these combos even worth learning?" I'm not trying to ask for all the answers as I know part of character development is learning these priorities yourself. I guess what I'm asking is what did you learn first in training mode? I'm wondering how useful some of these beginner combos really are if they dont give a lot of runs, but is it smart to jump in and learn a 10 run combo? Sorry if this question isn't very clear, but I really like the complexity of Junpei... he's just a little complex! Thanks everyone
  2. Sup FL I know some of you through the FB group. Tried to make an account and forgot I had one from back when CT dropped lol. Tallahassee P4 scene is kinda small with a major lack of character diversity so at the risk of getting yelled at by DC if anyone wants to hit up netplay on PSN please feel free to add me. Ted main here. Thanks!
  3. Yeah that'd be great! I still haven't quite mastered 6C loop
  4. As a player since Reload, I'd put equal amounts of time into CS and AC+ on PS3. Also I'm sure I'm not the only person who (after BlazBlue has been balanced a little more) would love a Guilty Gear vs. BlazBlue game.
  5. Piano inputs make reversals much much easier in HDR/ST. The new commands aren't mandatory, you can still pull off a 360 (it's more like a 270 anyways) with the original commands. Guilty Gear would be more user friendly if it was ported to XBLA/PSN, a little explanation of some of the systems (HDR gives an overview of what a 'meaty' attack is, MCV2 rerelease talks about assists and other stuff) as well as a practice mode on par with Virtua Fighter 4. But just putting it on 360/PS3 would make it easier thanks to increased audience who need a place to read up on Guilty Gear, like a forum or something. . .
  6. Hey guys, sorry if this has been answered but I'm hoping it's pertinent enough to be answered again. What dictates if the follow up to Carnage Scissors comes out? I've blocked hit one and have the follow up sometimes come out, sometimes the move just ends. It's a little confusing and would be great to know so I don't try to super flash punish and fail.
