In my (limited) experience, you're on even footing as far as neutral goes. He can't really rush in on you unless you let him. His air approach with j.c is good, but so is our 6a. He has long pokes (5c I think? The wolf leg kick?), but 5d is faster. You can outpoke him with 5d and j.d (if you jumped first, don't air to air with it). The problem comes from wolf form. If he's on you with wolf form...get out however you can. Soutenjin, messenga, counter super (haven't tested vs wolf), 6a...pretty much need meter. Learn where they wolf cancel and make them pay for it. Lots of valks seem to run a block string ending with the shoulder dash -> wolf cancel -> wolf mixup. You can 5a when they wolf cancel and poke out. I guess the best way to go about it is to use d to poke (see what I did there? ) and build meter (blocked or not). When you have enough to feel comfortable, pressure harder or let them in to catch wolf cancels. He's about as bad under pressure without meter as we are. Haven't fought lots of valks, nor have I fought particularly skilled ones that I can remember, so it's just me thinking out loud. PS3 tag: meester_muuffin

Does she have a ground string of drives that are air tight? I thought she did...but everything else 2c works? And counter...do noels drives and c moves count as projectiles? PS3 tag: meester_muuffin

Oh, oh! Another question! If you're in pressure, how do you get DPs out the SECOND you have an opening? I'm aware of the (3?) frame buffer BB has if you hold the button, but does that work with the dp motion? For example, if I'm in pressure and I input the dp motion and come out of blockstun in those three (or however many) frames the input buffer lasts for, will I get a dp or just that single button's normal? I'm using my phone as my main device right now, so I set it as my sig cause tapatalk is weird and I got frustrated trying to edit my profile. XD Apparently that makes two sigs.. I haven't updated my old sig...been playing Terumi online and it's killing me trying to wakeup dp. Especially since I don't have many other defensive options. Thank you very much for the help! Suuuuuper easy, high damage combos in corner: 6b (fc) -> 3c -> 22c (lvl3) -> 632146c 6192 damage (req 100 meter) Same combo in OD - 7580 (vs full meter, 7214 vs empty meter) I'm no theory crafter, so do what you will to see if you can add to that. Also haven't paid much attention to the thread to see if that's been done already... The 22c -> super seems to make it hurt the most. I'm not sure if there's a better way to prorate it, but adding anything else seems to make the damage go down... PS3 tag: meester_muuffin
