Yep, I'm even MORE hype now. Some interesting stuff I saw in the mechanics translation. Quick Escape: A + C. "Moves to dodge attack." (Jojo's rolls? Yes please) Mini-jump: Down + A + C (hop?) (Nice) Air Turn: A + C in midair. You turn. IN THE AIR. (Wha? This I gotta see. I assume this means some sort of air dodge)

You underestimate the power of plot devices. It would be cool to see him in the game, whether or not he's the main antagonist.

Yukiko's specialty in P4 was magic all the way, and she certainly wasn't pulling Anji or Hakuowlo crap with her fan. It'd be kinda silly if she WASN'T a zoner imo.

I'm guessing Chie's "kick" gauge is specific to a move. Exposed.

I don't know what has me more hype: Yu having Jojo's combos, or Yu having GRAND VIPER (with OM anyways). Also, the HD quality video confirms that the diamond over Chie's bar doesn't disappear after Yu does an OM. So I'm guessing that OM just takes meter.

At least four characters left to be announced. I could see Teddy and Naoto being in, then uh.... Adachi lets say. Then we would have one slot left over for Margaret maybe, unless they want to add more P3 characters.

Ok, so MC has the same name as the anime: Narukami Yu. (Narukami means "to become a god." Subtle, I know.) However, they don't use the kanji for "kami as in god." Whatever, I'll just call the dude "Yu" I guess. Other note: Aegis screenshot still has "Free Pray," which makes me smile.

You're more hype for The Golden than Ultimate Mayonako? Hell no. I already played Persona 4 extensively. Gimme my new fighter to main dammit.

I'd like to discuss the game. Now, I have talked with some friends in Japan about this game, and I was under the impression that the "top tiers" in the game are Riannon and Touka. Riannon absolutely dominates certain matchups and Touka is even or better against everyone. I am also told that basically "everyone has some BS except Manaka." As for Tamaki, last time I checked, she is "good, but loses to some stupid things." This makes sense since she is a grappler. So what has changed that now Tamaki is on par with Riannon and Touka? I have not been able to play the game like you probably have, so I would apreciate an explanation.

Don't have to be so Lex Luthor about it. I don't even like that movie. Anyways, I'd like to see more P3 characters, but they don't necessarily HAVE to include P3 characters to finish the roster. They could add Teddie and Killer, and then for the final spot have some brand new character. Or the fox at the shrine. He was kind of a party member, may as well have all of them.

Well, let's look at who has a Persona and can fight in Persona 4. Confirmed: MC, Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko, Kanji Unconfirmed: Naoto, Teddie, BAD GUY HURR (not sure if I should mention due to spoilerz) However, we must also look at Persona 4 Golden, which has been announced concurrently with this. That game has a new character, Marie. I'm assuming she will be in this as well. So ignoring Teddie and Killer, by my count, that is actually 8 characters counting Aegis.

I love the SMT series in general, but I'm pleased as punch that it is a Persona fighter in particular. Personally, I have always dreamed of a P3 vs. P4 fighting game with Jojo's engine. As for Rise, yeah, she has already been seen in screenshots doing some announcer thing. I wouldn't mind if they decide to throw a curve ball and throw in a character that didn't actually fight, though. Throw in Dojima. He can give death stares and throw coffee. His super can be "Neglect." Also, I wonder if they will throw in more P3 characters, and if so, how many? Maybe they will add Ken just to piss EVERYONE off. I'll also assume that two of the unrevealed characters are Naoto and Marie (new girl for Persona 4 Golden).

This footage of Guilty Gear Isuka 2 looks incredible. I'm quite excited, I felt people didn't give Isuka the attention it deserved, and I am glad that they have decided to continue the series. Why are you posting this video here though? Most of the other videos are clearly footage of Ougon Musou Kyoku X.

Just to clarify, you mean you want a big cross-property dream match, right? With Raidou, Demi-Fiend, and other assorted SMT characters? Gameplay wise, I want this thing to be like Jojo's. Also, I want MC's taunt to be: "Calm down" *puts on glasses*. And then he can throw off the glasses for his level 3, where he summons ZA WARUDO.

Yeah, there's a spirit breaker. That matchup is so horrible it has kind of killed my hype for the game.
