  1. It obviously takes more time for the metagame to change between a slow game with 15 characters and a fast game with 50 characters that you use 3 of at a time...
  2. I fought a really nice mei fang on netplay today. I had a feeling he was japanese but I sent him a message saying "nice meifang" anyway. A little later he responded with "ナイス エルサ!!". I was very happy inside . Also I can confirm connection with Japan isnt even that bad :o edit: holy shit @ the special cgs in this game hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngh
  3. I retract my previous statement about the netplay. After playing in it for a while and not trying to do tricky custom combos, I had no problems playing with east coast. Honestly I'd say its not better or worse than BB.

  5. I played in a "midwest" room and I live in the midwest and I managed to finish a grand total of 0 combos and my character is fucking easy. It's better than SF at least but BB is better.

  7. As long as you have at least 2 meters. Otherwise you just completely fucked your next combo. Is anyone playing right now? I haven't fought a real match yet. edit: as expected the netcode is unbelievably awful. don't know if i was fighting someone from japan but id rather fight west coast players in BB

  14. Even though we were told 2C is techable I've never seen it teched instantly, which makes me believe the tech time was just decreased to the point you can't follow up. So perhaps 5C 2C 2B will be possible on fatal. edit: nvm im an idiot. probably wont get anything even decent outside of the corner.
  15. Dash under 5B always works on Tager if you d2B. It's a good practice to always d2B after j.D and 2C for this reason, and for more corner push when you aren't there yet. Reverse daifunka always works with d2B as well. Other random corner combo 5B 2B 6C j.D 6A 623B 5B 2B j.B j4C dj4CC j623B

  18. That's extremely relative it depends on what you start with. 5B 2B 2C d2B 623B dash under 5B 2B j4C jC j623B for poor man's combo. Also for corner combos since Bang's options are actually fairly limited, I often combo into j623B in the corner and do 2A cross under cause the timing is set up perfectly.
  19. In terms of proration, 6A is not as good and 2C never was so probably not. Standard seems to be 5B 2B 623B 5B 6C j4C j623B dash under 5A ender but I wonder if you could sneak in another 5B after the 2B. Probably not or people would be doing it.
  20. Man I love Kuma's playstyle. He has really unique pressure and it's nice to see a Noel play extremely well without being retardedly good at Haidas (*cough* R-1). I wonder how effective 5C BC whiff would be in CS1...
