  1. I hate to be one of those people, but any information on Hakumen? I'm curious to hear if the drive counter nerfs stayed.
  2. Rachel got a damage buff in CS2 K2, so you'll get your wish lol
  3. An Ontario player I've never met before! :D Where are you from if you don't mind me asking? Have you ever been to Lovegety? Did you go to T11?

  4. Fixed that for you. I still have several PMs from Skye trying to explain to me why Arakune would be the worst character in Continuum Shift  <3 Skye
  5. Oh my god, they gave Rachel a 6B > 6C gatling, she's going to be ridiculous in CS2 if that stays. I was getting sooo hype, that set was delicious.
  6. GGs tonight everyone! :D I got a lot of Lambda experience haha, great matches, I think we both learned a lot. Thanks to Jabir and Unsanctifier for officially welcoming me into the GG community, the game is super fun, I'm really going to put the time in to get good.
  7. I thought the same thing at first, but I changed my mind after watching videos. It still has wavedashing, it still has tri-jumps, it's still fast as hell in the right hands. It also has true unblockables haha, all the dumb shit that made MvC2 fun. People like Yipes and Sanford Kelly said that if you don't know how to block, you're still going to get opened up like in the old days.
  8. As of right now, I'm interested. However, with MvC3 and KOF XIII on the horizon, I don't want to spread myself too thin across too many games, so I may end up dropping GG as a competitive game. That depends though, I may fall in love with it, who knows lol. But yeah, count me in on wanting to level up. I was thinking of playing May, Sol or Faust.
  9. Hakumen is my main now lol, I don't really play this fat fuck anymore
  10. That situation you described vs. Lambda is pretty much the story of my life haha. Oh, and I also forgot about Renka, canceling random normals into Renka usually catches jumpers. That's probably our best bet. If you're attentive, you can hit confirm that into 623AA for 4.2K, raw Renka is a great starter. If that's too tough, an easier confirm would be Renka, late cancel the second hit into Gurren > hop 5A into BnB for 3.1K (wow, that's a metric fuckton of fighting game jargon, I feel nerdy lol). If you're anticipating that your opponent will try jumping out, the hit confirm into 623AA becomes much easier. That's what my time in the lab has shown. And the reason I thought it was Kusaregedo was because he has a move that looks exactly like that in the Samurai Shodown games. Ugliest character ever designed. Edit: Wait, shit, that's only when they're normal blocking. If they're trying to jump out with barrier guard, it's a whole different ball game. Back in the lab we go.
  11. I'll hop into training mode tomorrow and figure out some safe strings that stuff jump out attempts. And I'm probably way off, but mAc Chaos, is your avatar a reference to Kusaregedo from Samurai Shodown?
  12. What can Hakumen do about opponents that like to jump out of pressure? I know if they block a 2A and try to jump out, chaining another 2A will catch them. That's only really scary with 4 stars though. There's the obvious option of jump after them and air throw, but that's pretty unsafe if you guess wrong.
  13. What time is everyone reaching LG tonight? I probably won't play GG today because I don't know what the fuck I'm doing lol. And it sucks to hear that there are Wii specific bugs, but I only really plan on using it to practice May combos in training mode. I also have a TvC stick.
  14. Homo-genius right? I just Youtubed it, that shit is amazing haha.
  15. My buddy bought me Guilty Gear (Wii) for my birthday, so I'm going to be practicing up a lot at home, I'm really excited. Oh and Karnov actually isn't the best character in the game, I'd have to give that distinction to Ray. Ray can stun Karnov with one tackle if he catches him crouching lol. I love how every character has DPs with crazy invincibility that are safe on block and travel horizontally. Fighter's History is so fucking fun, does anyone know any other obscure broken titles that are good like that?
  16. No poverty tourney this Friday, the guy who usually runs them will be at Season's Beatings. Lovegety it is for me.
  17. I find it really inconsistent though, if they make it easier that'd be awesome.
  18. Have you guys ever heard of Fighter's History? Particularly Fighter's History Dynamite. The game is so fucking good, everyone is so broken but in such a fun way. TFNS runs "poverty game" tournaments every Friday apparently, and FHD was this week's choice. I hope they run like Jackie Chan: Fist of Fire or one of newer Samurai Showdown games.
  19. If his j. C comes out faster, maybe we can do a while rising forward jump C, then air dash/double jump into another.
  20. So we potentially have 4 Lovegety regulars for the tournament next weekend. Cool.
  21. No, they were always purple, including command throws. This is a big buff for Tager considering he has a lot of solid/relatively safe ways to break guard. Like my buddy Gothika above showed me, you can do 6B, 6B, 6C for 3 primers LOL.
  22. Haha hey now, I posted in this thread before saying I'd reserve judgment for when I see footage or actually play the game. All in all, I think he'll turn out all right. I just want to see how his damage is affected.
  23. J. 2C and 3C both look insanely fast, and 3C was a quick move to begin with. It looks like the entire animation has been shortened. Our herpderp 2 star 4.5K Renka corner combos look like they still work, he managed to follow up with 2C; it didn't wallbounce like a Gurren in the corner does. I wanted to see a 6C though.
