  1. I've stopped doing that a long time ago. The majority of Jin players just ommit the second jB (thus making it jB > jC > JC > jC > jD > 214B) or do the variation of this BnB, which is 6C > 5C > HJC > jC > jD > Air Dash > jB > jC > 214B. Personally, I simply go for 6C > 2D > dash > 5C > jB > jC > jD > 214B when I'm sure the 2D won't whiff due to corner. It is also more damaging, I think.

  3. Jeez, I've tried doing that a million times vs CPU Ragna when he would tech after a knockdown move and it just doesn't work for me. Is there an specific timing I should aim for?
  4. Now that you guys mentioned it, how do I cross them up with 2A properly? I'm having some trouble with it... Do I have to actually run or is 2A from a dash just fine?
  5. What should I do after 623A > Last hit of 236D to achieve the highest damage possible? Or is it better if I just 5B > 5C > 3C > 236C afterwards?

  7. ^ Exactly. Good Jins actually think before pressing buttons, as you're basically stating. There's an awful lot of reset and mixup situations, not even mentioning specific combos and stuff. If you think it's easy to play just like Buppa, Ren, or some other Jin pro, why don't you give it a try? >_>
  8. At least this is just a test. Hopefully it won't be like that on the final version of the game. My guess is that they're trying to make us play around with his projectile game more, or something like that.

  10. What exactly do they mean by slower? Does it take more frames do come out? Are some of the combos with 5B going to be impossible to be done, or somewhat harder? Or is it just that it will take longer to land both hits? I guess we can adapt to using 2B as a OTG move.

  13. What else can you do after a whiffed j.A, other than 2B, dash > grab or air dash > j.B?
  14. If they end up near the corner, you can follow it up with a quick 632146C. Can't think of anything else, though. How am I supposed to use 623C/D safely as I get up? Sometimes it won't come fast enough and I will proceed to get hit... >_<
  15. I see. The thing is, I've just put my hands on my new Sanwa parts and, as stupid as it may sound, I'm kinda afraid to damage something, lol. I just hate mashing stuff >_>
  16. I'm aware you need 5 inputs for it to activate. The problem is, whenever I land it, it hits them for like... 6 times then it basically whiffs, thus not getting me the launcher needed for the 5C to connect.
  17. I liked that throw trap, Double D. I've been using the "japanese" air throw reset, in which you try to grab them after a 214D > 2C. If they tech out of it, you can airdash back in and proceed to attack your opponent. Just a little observation though. You don't seem to get 5C > 6C > BnB constantly when you hit crouching opponents. Practice that on training mode, even if you already know how to do it, it helps to stick it to your finger memory when you get the chance to use it. And try not to use 6C on block strings too much either, unless you predict your opponent is going to punish you and use 623B. I'm also new to DL =D
  18. How hard are you supposed to mash C? lol... I can never get it to launch people, am I not mashing enough? I rarely use 6A though, I prefer using j.B / j.C as overheads for pressure. I'm new here, by the way
