Attention all Memphis, or Nashville if you are out this way this weekend, I will be hosting another gathering/cook out on Sat. and all are welcome. When: Cookout starts at 6:00 games start around 7:30 or 8:00 Fee: 5.00 if you want to participate in refreshments or nothing if you just want to come for games though bringing a set up is encouraged Menu: Standard cookout fare, burgers, hotdogs, potato salad, homemade brownies, pepsi products Where: My home PM for address if you dont have it already BYOB: If you like I will have a cooler on hand. Lycan bring the Jager you and Squabb killed what I had on hand Games: SF4 is the main game but if you want to play something else (Tekken 6, GG, BlazBlu) thats cool too If you are interested in the cookout portion please let me know if you can attend ASAP so I can have enough food on hand. Yeah but is is Memphis actually going to play the game?? I was hype for the first one and then realized no one played it.

Fuck yeah I am playing. Practicing in between calls. More changed from 5DR to 6 than I thought and I need to level up badly. I'm not shit in Tekken right now but I plan to be. Good news though loading is reduced if you install to your PS3. Its still more than DR but not as bad as it was pre install thank god.

There are patches to get because online and a few other things were being released bypatch on release data only to deter people from getting it early. Right now my only complaint is loading time sucks. Like you can make a sandwich between when you choose your characters and when the match starts. But I am trying to see if installing it to my PS3 reduces that.

If you think I need to then yeah I can bring a set up.

If necessary I can bring a PS2 and a copy of GGAC.

You know I will be there man. I need to lvl my Tekken game up I dont want to loose to anyone not from Memphis.

Rukus: Man it was great to meet you and thanks for coming out and supporting Memphis as we try to beat Nashville at anything. Good job with your play today, the more tourneys we are in the less jitters are a problem. If only they could have played on just one console that would have been nice Melvin: Thanks for the Gief practice at FUn Fair a few weeks ago. You were beating my Rog and because of it I changed my game up and took out every Gief pretty easily. I would not have been able to do that without the ass whuppings you game me Shin/Boss: Sucks you guys couldn't make it. It was a good trip and we did pretty well. You guys have got to come next time. The turn out at Game Galaxy was nice. The Tekken machine was prety much empty save for a few people I smoked, thank you Majin and Shin for the training sessions, and one guy I couldnt beat but you guys would have ruined. Overall we did pretty well. I took 5th in singles and Lycan and I took 4th in team play. They are hosting a T6 ranbat next week. I know I cant make it but if you guys can you should.

Had to cancel the session today people. Work has gotten stupid the last two days. Sucks we wont all get to practice together before Sat but shit happens. I will see all the travelers on Sat.

Rukus: Is Demon's Souls worth it? I wasn't sure if I was going to get it or not. I kind of figured if I did it would end up eating all my game time up.

I think its 2v2 but I think it more depends on the number of people that show.

Practice SFIV...but Tekken is so much more fun (does ISW combo.......I never thought I would say that:vbang: To second Lycan yes please stop stressing money. We just want Memphis to go down there and do well. Seeing as how both he and I tend to freeze up and play crappy in tourneys we don't want all of Memphis's hopes riding on us. We can hit up dollar menus or something for food and I assume Lycan is taking the truck so I figure we can fit five.

Mike you should definitely come man. We are coming back the same night for sure. I need all the Tek 6 practice I can get so I will spot you as my sparring partner.

Oh we should be back in time for the fight man. Nashville usually starts their events early around 11 or noon and runs them very efficiently. I figure we will be back no later than 8. I think its 2 person teams but they may change it depending on how many show up. Lycan is driving so its up to him but IMO the more from Memphis that go the better.

I am not sure if they are running a T6 tourney or not but I know its singles and teams for SFIV. Majin you should come too. That way we can have two teams in the SF tourney. I know you hate SF but wouldn't it be nice to crush Nashville?

Road trips are fun but I would much rather fly. Hell I fly into ATL several times a year for work the flight is over before it starts. If a group of us do it we can go in on a rental car too which wouldn't bee too bad either.

Buy travel ins if you do so you dont loose out on the tix if BS comes up like it did for evo man.

If we have to do get togethers on Sundays lets shoot for in the afternoon. I cant be out all late Sunday night. Work in the AM and my wife would kill me.

Back in Mid Tier hell. Just once I want a character I really like to be top tier. Out of curiosity why dont you agree?

Yeah I am holding myself over practicing the game you love so much, sfIV, and some bio shock. I will just be glad to have the final version of lee for a while. I know there are going to be changes with moves and such I will need to get used to.
