Annatrocity

I'll get some better pictures put up once I finish painting parts that need to be painted and making parts that need to be made there are minor details that need to be done to make it more accurate but I figured that was a serviceable debut PS: I'm 100% sure that the Noel everyone is worrying about being a trap is female based on nose/forehead and cheek structure.

I'd call this around 85% done. I broke it out for a NYE rave and had to rush some stuff to get finished so I didn't get all the details I want to put on. Some pieces missing, some more painting needed. Gotta get some better gloves. But all in all I'm diggin it. It managed to survive dancing for several hours which is important. Blacklight reactive, Also note the red LED on the inside of the visor. I want to do a girl version of Hakumen at some point. I actually ONLY play hakumen and recently got 3rd in a local tournament. As much as I love the look of v-13 the stay back and throw swords style just doesn't do it for me.

I'm going to probably wind up taking some degree of artistic license with it. Probably a translucent high heel to give as similar an effect as I can without trying to tiptoe everywhere on the edges of plastic swords.

Now that I've got the wings pretty much done I feel like I am really gettin places. Just waiting for my bodysuit to really set off the loop but I guess I am gonna start on the legs next.

Working on a nice nu-13, visor is going really well, I think it's pretty much done. I am doing a variant of the black/purple color scheme. Some slight stylistic modifications to it. I used a silver mirrored motorcycle visor that I dremeled down for the lens. The wrist blade edges are done in blacklight reactive paint, I need to do a little more detail painting on the bracers/cuffs but then they're good to do. The swords for the wings are mostly painted, 4 of them are totally done except for the edges are still drying, they;'re also blacklight reactive. The other 4 are about 2/3rds done, I am waiting on them to dry so I can finish the edges then they'll be good. I've got a good wing harness design under construction and a nice metallic black body suit on order. This is the first costume project I've ever under taken and so far I am really liking how things are turning out. And my wings as they were a week ago before I started painting them. The eventual goal is for all the edges of the blades to be done with neon glowing pink el-wire. Am also going to have nerd friends help me set up LED's in appropriate places on costume that will glow as well. Have high hopes for this winning some Halloween costume contests PS: Dont hate me because I want to be Nu, I mean I even kinda look like her....but I play as Hakumen
