You'd be replacing the spring on a Sanwa stick. They aren't too hard to take apart and there should be a guide on SRKs tech talk explaining how. I could probably do it and I even have a semitsu spring lying around you could use (I think they work in Sanwas). Fell free to pm me or w/e if you need more info. Totally didn't pop in just to respond to this. Still kinda tough for me to make it to meetups...

I'm suddenly interested in Relius too after seeing that vid. I need to save for a PS3 one of these days...

If Oso ever hosts a meetup I'm going to have to master that teleportation spell.

I'll pretty much always be up for some weekday madness. Maybe having frequent practice with someone will actually make me better at these games!

Seriously Mightfo, you should be writing fucking articles on this stuff. If everyone else is hype for GG I'm in too I guess. My stick works with PS2 and I've been working on a project that might leave me with another one later.

Wait, what? LoL talk and I missed it? Glad I could stop by and get boddied for a while. Soon as I know my class sceduel I'll know if I can keep showing up. @oso I went rare pokemon status just for you.

From CS2+ changes Lambda: Gravity seed can be used twice with 1 gauge 5C - Holding the button causes all hits to come out It's like a dream come true!

Aloha told me that I-no is pretty execution heavy. One of rour main FRCs has something a ~2 frame gap for you to activate. Kinda dropped her after finding that out.

If that's all you'd be doing you might want to do what I did. Bought a cheap gun case, an easy to mod PCB, buttons ect. and put the thing together myself. Assuming you have tools on hand it's about $100. Maybe an extra $30 if you don't have soldering tools and wire. Best part is it's easy to mod because you built it yourself. :o [link] Also, Hori PCBs are kinda fragile when you start soldering on them. I broke the directions one the one I had... I know there's an image of the PCB I modded around SRK so that might give you a better idea.

From the brief description it says... "HORI's new officially licensed Fighting Stick VX with original HORI buttons and joystick." I had an older model and it had Hori parts. They are pretty bad in comparison to Sanwa/Semitsu. Unless they've changed something in the interior design expect it to be hard as nails to mod as well. Am I sort of the resident "knows modding" dood?

Seems like I can't make it out today. Ultimate plan failed. Huh, I read an article that said she was actually male but yeah, that makes sense.

Yeah, saturday late afternoon. Spent most of the time watching the LoL screen. >>; I also saw Aloha there. Fun times.

I heard about it (or at least assumed there would be one) but I didn't get to check it out. When I went to the game area nobody was on the BB setups either. It was a sad day.

Q&A about Joystick Building, Parts, and Purchasing
RaveSage replied to mr.mortified's topic in Hardware
I owned one of those FS3s. The buttons are pretty stiff, the joystick is really constrictive and if you ever decide to mod it, it's a huge pain in the ass. Your mayflash might have connections touching each other or something. If you're going to buy a new one anyway no harm in opening the thing up and looking at it to see if there's an simple issue going on.
