When you deploy a stein it fires a gold/yellow laser beam. Sometimes though, it fires a blue one that takes a primer off. I was wondering if you can just hold D or something to charge up the normal laser for the blue one.
Well, I might be wrong about it then. I never actually tested to see if it was an overhead. I just remember reading somewhere that being an overhead was one of j.214d's special properties.
Anyone ever mess around with TKing her j.214D after 6C or 3C? I experimented with this in training, but I can't do it in a real match since I stink. Seems like it would be a good overhead, but only if you have the meter or charge to make it safe.
From what I can tell, J.C has more range than J.B, if not the same.
And I agree, 2C is a good anti air. You only have to worry if you whiff it, which is hard to do considering it has a pretty sizable hit box.
Yea, not having invincibility didn't sound right to me all. From what I can tell, 214D~b beats out a ton of aerial moves, so I don't see how it is a poor man's anti-air. The move is fantastic. Hazama should have a B in "against air" at least imo.
Having a terrible distortion actually makes her more fun to play imo because it creates an incentive to rapid her unsafe specials. Using her specials for approach seems a lot more fun than using her distortion for reversals or extra combo damage.
I have a question though, can you cancel her 214 or 236 specials into other specials on block?
