  2. Opening up a new thread since the original thread's creator isn't updating it. Leave your PSN ID/XBL Gamertag here with your location to help find other Tsubaki players near you! If you're wondering about the thread's title it's because when I first heard English Tsubaki say "Lux Aeterna" in passing I thought she said "Must be Karma!" and lol'd... then realized I was wrong and lol'd some more. It's stuck ever since. Remember to tell the person you're requesting that you are from here (Dustloop) otherwise they might just think you're a random stalker or something How to read: Dustloop username - PSN ID/XBL Gamertag, Location PSN pktazn - pktazn1213, FL Daedron - Daedron, Holland BatousaiJ - BatousaiJ, NY/NJ diospyros - diospyros, LA County Amadeous - Amadeous4446, Central Ohio Dusk Thanatos - duskthanatos, VA NTF_Madara - ntf_madara, MD Tsubaki 5B - Reaper180; NY Kiba - BlackJaguarXD; England Mr. Kimura - Saikyo_Joe, VA STenSatsu - FBRin, CA Level5-Chan - Level5-JeepChan, Near Montreal/Canada Spring_Raid - Jaguar131, unknown logicholeflaw - LogicHoleFlaw; Redmond, WA Edge Reaper - Edge_Reaper, TX (pretty much dead, but I do plan to return at some point) Shaffler - Shaffler, New Joisey SolXBaiken - Ishiwatari, TX D_money01 - d_dollars; Brooklyn, NY DanTheTimid - DanTheMeek; Pheonix, AZ HexaNoid - HexaNoid, England KeyBlaz - Key_to_the_Dawn, Unknown PaladinxTogetic - ElegantMid-boss; Detroit, MI ThunderboltZ28 - ThunderboltZ28, TX LunarSelenia - LunarSelenia, HI SansProtocol - SansProtocol; Tampa, FL (Nights - 9pm-?) 4. Hmmm well I can tell you the basic section is pretty barren since I'm also using Ginseng's updated combo thread as a guide to help separate the basic and advanced. I'll probably change it to his format of beginner, intermediate, and expert though. Just trying to get everything organized so far :]
  5. Forgot to post this here earlier lewl. Noel haida tutorial for CS2. Of course, it's in Japanese. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2akL1jhRrM
  6. Hmmm... I don't go against Valk that often either. I went against one when he first came out in CS1 and that was it. All I know is his wolf form lols all over you and it doesn't look like that's changed in CS2.
  7. Blurp just when I think I'm done organizing things, more pop up! But that's what I get for being lazy lol. Thanks for the work on combos Batousai! Yes I know I said I'd update the first few pages earlier this week but then I realized I have to start getting ready to go back to college for summer classes on Monday so that took up most of my time. Definitely gonna update it tonight and of course, if you feel anything is wrong or misplaced feel free to edit it Ginseng.
  8. Well you have to remember they were cursed. I don't know how long the recovery after using a counter assault is so they probably used the rapid for that so they wouldn't get hit by Kune's bugs and hoped they would get him before he could use them again.

  13. That's a nice write-up Airk thanks, but it's a bit too verbose. If you don't mind, I'd like to just take out the key data from it so that it's summarized quickly for the first posts. I think it would probably be better placed in one of the guides rather than a somewhat quick tutorial video.
  14. Thank ye kindly. I have a feeling that's Kazu @ Ginga since he's the only one I remember at acho who used that palette and was solid but since the username changed I could be wrong. EDIT: Or maybe I'm right, I'm not sure since it appears he just changed the first part of his username lol ガー不はじめました@銀河 = "ga^ fu hajimemashita @ ginga"
  15. 4/29 acho http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nEalORc-Qc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJJ8pI7mzRs
  16. Just my two cents and I don't know how big Plat's hitbox is but if you're practicing something for the first time I suggest using someone with a pretty big hitbox like Tager (poor Tager) just so you know if you can land it.
  17. Yes, I believe they changed the challenge mode for consoles and it's in the vidja thread darling but since I'm such a sweetie I'll link you :3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glmF5GlEnbg
  18. I'll update the first few posts with the combos and explanation of the combo links you've put up when I get back from work and whatnot unless Ginseng gets to it first haha. Thanks a bunch for all the work you're doing for Tsubaki's combos Batousai :]
  19. Sounds like you're inputting the move too late if they're teching out before you hit. Try inputting the 5B and 2C as you're doing j.CC and whatever is before the 2C. I can't really help much more from there since I don't have CS2 (yet) but I had a timing problem myself in the CS1 challenges where they teched out too quickly because I was inputting the move too late.

  25. While difficulty can be subjective in many ways, not everyone knows how to do an IAD or dash during a combo and keep it going. Knowing what to do and executing it are two very different things. If you want a personal example from me I can share but I'd post it in the general thread haha. The tutorial is supposed to cater to all players, beginners and veterans alike, and there probably wouldn't be anything more frustrating for a beginner trying to learn Tsu's combos than to think they couldn't even do one of her basic combos. In regards to showing which combos are more difficult, while the hats would be a way to show which ones are more difficult, it'd probably be easier by just listing it under "advanced" or "basic" since it implies that the ones listed under basic would technically be easier to complete than the ones under advanced. We can tweak and converse about which combos are "more" basic than others over some hot tea and crumpets when more people have access to CS2.
