Yoshivi's 4th Noel combo vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-rfqDceTfk

Yea that would help since I can't test out the combos myself and say which are more difficult since I'm planning on updating the first few posts with what we have right now. I pretty much organized it already in notepad I just need to figure out if it should go under basic or advanced.
-
Batousai, would you consider the combos with IADs to be part of the more advanced combos or just some of them? I think I remember you mentioning that the timing was really strict.

You mean for their usernames? They just use either hiragana or katakana.

Then maybe it would be better if we list all of them? Most of the other character threads just listed everything they have to my knowledge with quick explanations. I can only confidently say that about Noel's since I play her still lol.
-
Gonna double-post cuz I'm cool like that unless I get ninja'd... again. I was wondering how we're going to organize the info for her normals/specials. Would it be easier to explain how Tsubaki plays with how the guide explains her moves or something a bit more simple for all the normals like: 5B - longest normal poke, anti-air, jump/charge cancellable on hit/block or how STen listed it? At least to start off, then we could add onto it from there since her normals and specials are pretty much set and have that section done for the most part.
-
Well we basically have the format in the first three posts, it's just a matter of how we're going to present it, as in how are we going to word it. It's up to us to choose what we feel would be the best way to inform people who are interested in playing Tsubaki what she can do by showing off the stuff she uses most. EDIT: Ninja'd by Ginseng even though I'm like 5 minutes late lol. Oh quick reply time-lapses what am I going to do with you
-
Oh okay, that makes it easier to figure how set-up things haha! I think he said he'd prefer it if it was text based instead of using voices so that helps in figuring out how to explain the moves.

I went through the NSB stream and got some of the Tsubaki matches I saw. I don't think I got all of them because my splitter kept freaking out at the file size from the recording so I just got who I could. Tsubaki vs Platinum http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mtspgflq1Gc Tsubaki vs Carl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3psNANjkP4 Tsubaki, Valkenhayn, Tager vs Tsubaki http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LmV3g3lQOg Lambda vs Tsubaki http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RqQ_T1bMA0 Tsubaki vs Bang http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5VOmC5pk30 Tsubaki vs Ragna http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nhF-To_JKs Tsubaki vs Taokaka, Makoto, Jin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yifBT-C2UKE

For breakdowns would it be listed as something like (This is just a sample and if you want to edit it you should lol) Breakdown of Normals: 5B, 5C, 2C (anything I missed) are anti-airs j.C is mostly used to approach opponents ... Something like that?
-
Sorry about that. I guess my last post on page 3 would probably go with the introduction template with adjustments of course. For the video we're just trying to make a quick, informative summary of Tsubaki and her moves right? Is there any idea of how long the video would be?
-
I could have sworn I saw Tsubaki use B moves (mostly 214B) to get through projectiles. I think they're still there, they just changed so there's no need to completely remove it. It just depends on the move being used. EDIT: Looking at the guide it does say that it's dependent on the move already *shoots self for not reading it beforehand and simply reiterating what's been said*

These are just some random things I thought up while I was munching on my Frosted Rice Krispies cereal so they're not very detailed or impressive. For her character breakdown Tsubaki would mostly be considered a close-range, rush-down fighter with mix-up right? For strengths she has decent pressure now, and her faster charging helps her mix-up. She seems to have a pretty good ground to ground, ground to air game once she gets a hit from what I've seen. I would think another strength is how flexible her combos are. I was thinking of some weaknesses for Tsubaki and thought maybe air to air could be mentioned in it. It doesn't seem like she can do well if it's purely an air fight. I don't know if it's just me but she also doesn't seem to be have a lot of ways to approach someone who continuously blocks low except with either 6A, j.C (this is the most common way I see Tsu players approach opponents blocking low in all honesty) or getting a fully charged 22D in their blockstring so they have to be tricky. I dunno if that's worth mentioning though, it was just something that popped up in my head.

Isn't Luna only a netplayer? I'm probably wrong lol As for a new mod for us? Hmmm... I'll have to think about it but I agree with Kiba or STen as possible mods. I don't think it should just be limited to those who go out to tourneys irl though but also those who have extensive knowledge/experience with the character even if they're netplay only since some netplayers are pretty active. They just don't have a scene near them or the means to get to it. That's just my opinion though. The only reason I'm more lesbian than any of you is because I'm female And yea if you want a voice narration I wouldn't mind doing it. Imo I thought the tutorial vids that ZenUnited were pretty well made so we could use that as a basis if anything else.
-
Yea, I agree that being simple is best. If the guide is too technical then it would probably confuse people who don't play her. That's not to say we shouldn't make it so simple that it's kinda vague. To be fair to Ginseng, we haven't actually had CS2 to play with until recently so it wouldn't have made sense to make changes to the guide when all we have are videos and things can get tricky when you're just watching them haha. Wouldn't want to mislead people reading it right? It would kinda help to know how to video is gonna be set up though. Is there going to be some text on the screen or is someone going to speak? If it's text it should be quick and to the point but if someone is speaking it doesn't have to be as short kinda like the Tsubaki CS1 tutorial videos from ZenUnited.
