I don't bother changing my strategy that drastically for each player. I will make some small changes for each player while playing (like baiting Haku's mindlessly 2D'ing 236D~C by changing the timing) but your style of playing doesn't really work for a straight forward character like Lambda.

I guess I am the weird one. I never use training mode to practice anything and never bother to warm up before playing (unless you count casuals before a few offline tourneys where I live). I just play against people and never noticed any improvement the longer I played.

Is needing to warm up really that big of an issue? I have never found myself playing better after warming up.

Makes sense. I was wondering where you were coming from since in Extend, most of their stuff was different, including minimum damage, so it seemed strange that you thought they were the same.

I find it almost impossible to pull off 236236D on the 360 pad now. Granted, I find lots of motions hard to pull off.

It didn't seem that bad. It is a 6 man room. You aren't going to get much play time in it unless you are always winning.
