  2. The first time someone tries anything, they usually get blown up severely for it. You just take the beatings and get better from it.
  3. Crossfire has a red name? I guess I can't mash spike chaser against him again. I don't even know how I escape most of the time. It just happens.
  4. You should also test out using 4B to poke out of blockstrings. I saw Yoshiki and Tsukasa using it a lot in the random videos I watched of them and it has worked well when I tried it out in certain situations.
  5. I guess I should bump up Jin on my list of match-ups to do since you are doing Lambda for me.

  10. Got bored during break. Tested out whether or not Lambda's 5A would hit characters if they are not in blockstun and in blockstun (tested in blockstun by doing 2A > 5A).   11. I don't know. Backdash and then Hell's Fang sounds dumber than throwing out a random 5D.
  12. I can only do it mid-match. Any longer than that I forget what happened unless I have replays saved, which I don't on PS3 because it takes too long.
  13. I need to take a page from your book and do something like this after my matches. I rarely go over why I lose after a session of BB.
  14. I almost feel bad for being called a mashy asshole. But I would rather press 5A to against a 25 frame move with an obvious animation that is plus on block than block it. I don't like to give Jin any slack. He feels like the type of character who will take any small thing he can get and make you regret it.

Since he can jump out, he has at least 18 frames to move around before you can do anything (236D~C has 44 frames of start-up, 15+29) and 236D~C has 62 total frames. 236D as well as 236D~C is something that can be reacted to fairly easily so it isn't something you can count on happening often. It is a valid option but nowhere good as you are making it seem.

  17. You're playing him in an EC-WC connection. Do you honestly expect him to be able to react to a lot of the stuff you do? Not to mention Mac is always rusty and doesn't particularly maximize what he can do in certain situations. He is probably the riskiest Hakumen out there. As for 236D, it can be dealt with on reaction. It is seriously a slow move. I'm not quite sure how often you fight Lambda, but outside of knockdown, you can easily escape 236D on reaction 95% of the time. If you follow-up 6DD with IAD j2DD, I'm pretty sure Haku could Kishuu and then put you in a corner. IAD back would give Haku a free dash towards you moving you to the corner. jB, jC, Hotaru and Tsubaki beat out Lambda's air throw. It isn't that what you are saying is wrong but you are making the match-up out to be way easier than it is. It is 50-50 for a reason. Everytime you whiff a 6D, Haku has 60 free frames to do whatever he wants. Edit: Cause I know that you are gonna be checking out this thread again Mac, in your experience, is TK Tsubaki (or hop Tsubaki I guess) plus on block or can someone push buttons and beat your buttons after you do it?

  19. Except that 6DD > 236D isn't a blockstring. They don't ever have to take the 236D chip damage. He can D it or most of the time just jump or IAD out. And as I'm pretty sure I've said before, everytime you whiff a 6D, he gets a free dash in. It's a great tool but any good Hakumen will be able to easily get around 6D spam. And we are of course assuming you are playing a good Hakumen. And charge 4C is horrible. If you see a Hakumen think about doing it, just CH 5D him for free.
  20. GGs ScrappinD, Wandering and Koopa. Why does every Hakumen have different combos? And Litchi players, 4D is a bad move to keep using if they are blocking it right? Litchi doesn't have a special way to make it less negative on block, does she?

  22. GGs Dusk. Would've stayed longer but we were lagging pretty bad and it kept making you get hit by random shit.
  23. GGs Soul (fuck that fuzzy jB bullshit into 6K though), Nedel, and KaizerBlack. Going from fighting Haku to then fighting Lambda messed with my mind too much. I agree. Rather figure out what to do by playing instead of studying.
  24. Of course it is going to do less damage. 236236D has a P1 of 100. No other move has that (outside of throws and 6C) so any moves you put before it will decrease the damage. You place moves before it so you can hitconfirm into it. It is a lot easier to land 5DD and combo into 236236D than it is to just land a raw 236236D It combos in CS2. You are not canceling 5DD fast enough. 2DD > 6C doesn't exist in CS2. It was added in Extend.
  25. I used a Vizio until people made me feel bad for using it. I changed to an Asus monitor and now I have no idea how I used that Vizio for so long...
