  1. You can do 2A > 2B with red axe iirc but I haven't explored that yet. Yep. Just as I thought. Height related. You notice how you don't get the ground bounce on a grounded opponent with j214A/B unless you are a certain height above them before starting it? It looks like the same thing with an air opponent. Not quite sure how often you could get that minimum height above the opponent in a combo though. It should be easy off of a CH jB though. Really wish I could test this right now.
  2. Link to combo video? I have been trying to get that consistently but I am not sure exactly why it only works some of the time for me. Maybe the combo video would show me why.
  3. GGs to OchiChernye and Rock_Volnutt. Kanji is annoying to deal with. Being paralyzed and near Kanji is such a scary place to be in.
  4. GGs to Lilly_Dopamine's room.
  5. GGs to the Akihiko I fought today. Akihiko looks really cool when he is fighting.
  6. They seem to all be on PSN.
  7. So you just sit there and wait for his invincibility to end after you block it? So it seems pretty much like now unless they let you punish an activated counter. They are impossible to punish once they activate, which is what I assume people have an issue with.
  8. So I didn't see any discussion about this in particular, so I figured I would ask now. If Haku's counters are blockable now, what would change? You still couldn't do projectile oki against him since he is invincible throughout the whole animation unless they changed that as well, right? And it would be nice if Rachel couldn't tech and wind herself. But that is a just a selfish wish so she couldn't escape Lambda's oki. Not that Lambda is in CP...
  9. Sounds like you have the opponent in awakening
  10. I noticed that the D version is a lot easier to do after j214A/B. Do you know if it faster or is it something with the hitboxes? I haven't gotten around to testing it yet so I figured I asked here. At what axe level does the D super become better than the C for ending a combo. Or does the D version always do more damage, even at low axe levels?
  11. GGs to everyone in LastStar's/Haven's rooms. Got a lot of work to do to not be free.
  12. GGs. I'm gonna take some of the stuff I saw you do with Labrys. Now I'm off to find more opponents for my day 1 Labrys.
  13. This game is still set for August 30th? Another delay wasn't announced right?
  14. They don't seem like they would be much helpful against Lambda. But Lambda isn't in the game as of yet so I couldn't say for sure.
  15. It wouldn't be fun then. You could just do 236D > astral.
  16. Tager's is an unblockable, not a command grab.
  17. I know. I was just providing things I thought were counter examples. Well it's a command grab. It wouldn't make sense to be able to combo into it.
  18. What about GG's and P4A's instant kills?
  19. I have to agree with Zeth. It shouldn't be easy to land an instant kill move. Plus making astral practical would probably take away from the fun of actually landing one. I always viewed them as flashy moves to end a match with that were unnecessary and probably too much work to do. If it was easier, it wouldn't be much different from a regular super and all the hype from landing one would go away.
  20. I don't think it is possible to punish jB, so I assume you mean how safe is jB > move. That depends on how high you are. The lower you hit them with it, the better. You can hit them surprisingly high with jB and still be plus on block though so just test it out and figure out the high limit.
  21. Hakumen is stupid good.
  22. It always puts the opponent in the corner (I love corner to corner combos) and I'm pretty sure you can end with dash 5A > stuff instead of super, but haven't gotten around to testing it.
  23. I wasn't able to get 5A/jA to connect after 236236C but my execution is ass so it could be possible with some really strict timing. I really wish this: FC 5AA > 236A/B > 6 > A followup > 236A > 6 > A followup > 236A > 6 > A followup > 236236C/D didn't need a fatal counter.
  24. Pattern Check out the data thread for more information.
  25. Unless you are in an arcade or your friends really hate having to change controls, you can just change it yourself.
