  1. Of course it's outdated as I posted it to show that their WAS issues with the series. We know they now have full control but obviously there was an issue with the series previously. Why is this even being argued when Daisuke fucking confirms it in that "outdated" quote? It was obvious that I wasn't saying that Sega still had control. Edit: and yes I saw the Tohmo interview but what he says obviously clashes with what has been said previously. Not saying it's not true... But that would make Daisuke a liar and I doubt he just made up an issue between he/ASW and Sega.
  2. Anyone here within 20-30 miles of Peachtree City/Fayette County?

  4. A synopsis of Ara's story would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Well ASW better hurry then because Capcom is doing everything in it's power to kill this genre. MvC3, 3s:OE, SFXTekken and vice versa... Oh and Super Street Fighter IV Turbo or whatever they call the updated version (yes I know Super is the last IV game. It's also getting new characters and balance changes so it may as well be the Third Strike of IV. God, those words in the same sentence hurt my brain...)
  6. Wow, so I went into challenge 10 armed with new knowledge... And get it first try. Thanks Skye! Buffeting that C bug was the missing piece of the puzzle.
  7. Thank you very much sir. Time to figure this out once and for all.
  8. I would love a proper re-release with netplay. I honestly find it odd that ASW haven't done this already as a way to make a bit of extra cash for their other projects (or even pockets). Unlike BB, GG has a recognizable name. That is a bigger selling point to "casual" gamers than ASW seems to understand. Take MvC2 for example. The re-release of that didn't do as well as it did because of a massive hardcore fanbase. It was because the average gamer could look at the name, recognize it and feel comfertable in buying it because it wasn't something they'd never heard of like Garou. Ah whatever, enough talking. GIVE US GG PLEASE!
  9. (Un)fortunately my Live has run out (check the sig please!) which has forcefully stopped the losing streak I was on for a couple days. I'm rekying too much on CT techbiques that simply arent valid anymore. The Hazama army has been screwing with me as well. I know to block low against them as they all only know how to do his BnB yet my brain kept telling me "nah, fuck that just try and counter!"... Everytime...
  10. Can someone explain the timing for the beginning of challenge number 10? I'm about to pull my hair out over this. If ot helps, the dummy techs out right before the D bug hits.
  11. So I'm loving Hazama. He offers the "normal" combos Arakune lacks while still having abstract fighting mechanics. Plus I can rock my 3s Q outfit (red trench coat). I won't know for sure if he'll be my sub til I check out Valkanhayn though. Or if Platinum turns out to be like Zappa I'll have to get past how retarded she looks because that equals insta-sub.
  12. Hey JUST saw the message you posted on my page regarding my sig lol. Thank you sir, it made me lol when I first thought of it. And thanks for the awesome Hazama guides! They've been a great help!

  14. I'm waiting for CS to start subbing Hazama. If Bang wasn't so damn awesome in CS I'd be subbing him right now but after Ara I have no interest in playing another high tier character (im tired of getting messages that read "derpa derpa good job tier whore")
  15. Yeah I realized I was in the wrong thread right after posting. My brain likes to trick me sometimes...
  16. Thank you very much and thank you for not flaming. If this was shoryuken.com I'dve been told to fuck off.
  17. I'm sure this has been answered a thousand times already but I can't find an answer due to my poor search skills. How the HELL do you watch videos on nicovideo?
  18. I got the Madcatz MvC TE. I'm very happy with it so far. It's almost like starting over again which sucks but I can tell that once I get used to it I'll have a much higher level of control. Just gonna have to sit down and PRACTICE.
  19. Thank you both very much. Wait so that PCB just happens to be called Cthulhu? This was meant to happen for me haha. I don't know how to solder but I'm sure I can learn or find someone that does know how.
  20. @jaeyu: I don't have a PS3 but I have a friend who does as well as a copy of BB which he never plays. I'll be getting a stick in the next week or so and will likely mod it for dual platforms so if that happens soon I will let you know. Re: Combo Breaker: Oh ok I've heard about a Waba Games that holds monthly tournaments, now I know what it's called. I'll def. participate in January. I'll bring along a really good Tao as well. It'll be awsome to meet some dedicated BB players from Ga. I'm flying back from England later today so I'm going to have to plant myself and dig back into BB cos I've been here for almost two weeks so I'm probably a bit rusty. Gotta get prepared!
  21. Thank you very much, your answer sealed the deal on the madcatz for me. I play on a 360 but will have to compete in Final Round on a PS3 so the TE is def. the way to go. When I do get around to modding it for multiple consoles what do I need and what's the difficulty in actually setting it up?
  22. I'm surprised they haven't released GGAC on Live Arcade/PSN if only because of the fighter craze that's been going on for the last year or so. It'd be great to have a GG game that I can actually play online with people who I didn't have to search a forum for. Sorry if this has been said a million times already in this thread I'm just far too lazy to read 19 pages of a thread as every thread of this length is half nobesense and like I said, I'm too lazy to deal with that.
  23. Hey quick question. I've only gotten serious about fighting games over the last six months or so and have been using the analog stick on my 360 pad (hey it's infinitely more precise than that dpad) but I have the money to finally get a stick now. I have never played a fighting game in an arcade so I have zero knowledge on the subject. I'm looking at two sticks right now and would like the advice of people who know a thing or two about sticks to help me choose. The sticks are the madcatz SFIV TE and the HRAP EXSE. My question is which of those would be better for a total noob who needs to learn how to play with a stick? As well as which requires less modding for when I need to get it ready for tournament play? I should mention that I'm retarded when it comes to wiring so getting one that is put together well would be helpful.
  24. Excuse my ignorance but what is Combo Breaker?
  25. Daniel Matthews Peachtree City, GA (30 minutes south of Atlanta) I'm willing to travel about an hour outside of PTC but I'm a bit antisocial so playing online a bit first would be good Arakune/learning Bang I'm not sure of my win ratio as I'm in England right now but I'd say my skill level is a bit above average. I still suck against Jins though
