I have a friend who is into Guilty Gear, and introduced me and my other friends to the series. while I wasn't (and still am not) very good, we had good times. then, I got wind about Blazblue. I had my doubts, thinking that they couldn't possibly have come up with as awesome a cast as GG. so anyhow, back to the topic at hand. it was at our senior after graduation party, and there was a BB arcade machine on free play, How could we say no? he picked out Hakumen and immediately started kicking everyones ass (no one had any clue what we were doing), I came the closest to winning with Nu, so when I picked up Blazblue, I stuck with her.

Great... Now I KNOW I suck... I suppose this means it's time for the all night training sessions or something...

Well, If they're playing a ranged Nu, and are competant, then they'll be able to stop you from getting in close and starting a combo, Right? how does one avoid that? I suppose the question is a lot closer to "How do I play this game" than I thought, now that I read it... I suppose I should go through the guide posted, figure out how to do some of these things everyone keeps mentioning, like Jump Cancelling and IAD'ing... in case you haven't noticed, I'm VERY new to playing competitavely, and none of my friends are into Fighteing games, so I only have real experience agains the CPU's

how do you play a rushdown with Nu? I've seen some of the combo's in the combo thread, but what else do you need to do to avoid getting pushed back and zoned?

ok, while I've played BlazBlue for a little bit, I haven't cared about bing good until a little while ago I have a question about the video on the previous page. why does the Nu keep crescent Saber canceling? It was mentioned that it could be useful for catching the opponent off guard, but the player keeps canceling and doing nothing... Whats up with that?
