Does anyone have/know someone who has that new SC5 hori stick on PS3? I want to test if it works with my converters.

Come today and you should be able to get some good BB and KOF in. You know you wanna fight eric on BB on 360.

Meetup wont be as big as last time. Definitely gonna have at least 4 setups though and if you wanna play BB or KOF come on down! Shorter combos! Encourages resets like I was going for. Ill probably focus on BB until the patch since my main concern was learning valentine/double juggles. Might tinker with cerebella/fortune in general tho. Still gonna rock butt assist for neutral. No, coming(estimated) in mid june. There's just info on it.

it is also easier to "just throw out" against characters who cant crouch it past the leg, like haku/tager (although haku's 623a makes this risky) in case you werent aware of that~

that's actually a decent non-combo question! it kind of depends on the matchup though.... generally if you're good at anti airing/air to airing them they dont want to just airdash mindlessly but dont want to rush in and get nailed by 5b or 6d or something once you've made them wary of those so..if you can anti air them decently enough to where theyve got a bit of caution, that creates the time and gives you more situations where 6b is pretty nicely spaced.(like during ground footsies or when you can make them fall on a 6b[m] after they've double jumped away) but it is easier to find situations like that for some characters than others. i dont really find myself 6b[m]ing against bang but i havent played against bang much since like..cs1, sooo. i feel like i could have answered/articulated this better but whatever, its a start. non combo/pressure discussion!

Sticking with june 23rd? Yessss!! Ill be able to go then! Good shit. Definitely entering BB and SG. Might enter SC5 just for kicks. I hope you plan to focus SG on ps3 because SG loading times on most 360s(not the newer models, those are fine) is pretty bad.

also for anyone i didnt pm but was interested in something like the litchi shirt i wore http://www.etsy.com/listing/99314590/fighting-game-communitycharacter-shirt send him the chara art or chara sprite frame and he'll do the little silhouette thing for your chara~ i figured anime/kof players would appreciate this since shirts with charas from those games are much harder to come by than say, capcom chara shirts the shirts are pretty soft if you're wondering. if you dunno where to get bb/gg/mb/whatever sprite extracts just ask also, reminder that i will be hosting this saturday

setups are probably my 360 on bb+my ps3 on sg+blackjack's kof setup+melty setups. divided or moosejaw, in case blackjack cant come(will know friday), a setup would be appreciated~ also i will focus on bb/mb at the meetup this time because i havent had time to learn double/valentine relaunch combos due to a friend being in town from indiana this week+post semester chores+random other stuff+diablo 3 lol

Looks like at least 10+ people will be likely already! Gonna run my 360 setup on BB on the 37inch(woofx7 and oldboy's 360 sticks+converters means there shouldnt be problems with controllers), ps3 setup for SG, blackjack will probably bring a KOF setup, and the melty guys will bring melty and maybe modded brawl setup.

What exactly do you define as smart play, though? Is it very spacing specific? Is being away of frame data so that you dont get too greedy with offense/defense really key? Do moves just have really balanced risk reward? Does something about it affect the centrality of/rewards for reading your opponent? Is smart play cautious play?

$15 is very nice. What makes people hype for playing VF/what makes people really enjoy playing it in comparison to 2d fighters or t6/ttt2/sc5? simple descriptions like "its honest" "its a real fighter" dont really answer this ;p

Pretty sure they dont exist. (again, unless you have hori ps3 sticks, which work with my converter for some reason)
