  1. Zonger, MM? We always bring the hype, only fair we money match Besides, I'm pissed you took my money with Haku, so.. revenge? Grudge matches are better than just MMs Also, TaoFTW, I have like 9 confirmed MMs. Just in case you didn't see them for your MM post.
  2. Interesting new list. I would like to see a more broad range of opinions, but definitely something to chew on. Most of my complaints with the original moved in the direction I thought needed, with a couple obvious wild cards that I don't really understand. Bang having a 5.5 vote is really funny, but not quite as funny as people taking it as a serious representation of Bang being better than Litchi (seriously fucking lol) Ragna is quite low for what I would expect, but in the land of defense, I understand completely. His matchups with the top tier aren't as good as they could be, and I would say he quite often comes out even with a lot of the midish tiers. Interesting, regardless.
  3. This is amazing, definitely down. I'm torn between purely doing own thing and acting like we are commentating a match we are not participating in.. "And James Xie simply can not keep up with Dacid's incredible reads, I've never seen such a landslide victory before; Wait, this is how it starts. THIS IS HOW IT STARTS. JAMES XIE WITH A BIG COMBO ENDING ON CORNER OKI, AND -- OHHHH, OHH, ITS OVER, ITS OVER, IT'S ALL OVER"
  4. Well, for one, you have an E tier. Usually an E tier is damn near unplayable, and that's not Rachel. Actually that's pretty much it. Also I just generally disagree with some placements, and it's too early to judge DLC characters; way too early.

  5. You better not have just called the dacidbro special silly.. Especially not when it's a trap that does 1.8k + 6k with meter
  6. Ryo, there is a very big problem in that 5C is jump cancellable. Just make sure if you use that option select you keep enough presence of mind to register if he does jump instead. Also, you may very quickly be crossed up on that jump cancel, or, if he knows you are trying to option select it another fun gimmick is 5C > Bumper. I've used that on Spark, and it is wonderful even when they are not trying to OS yukikaze. But that's pretty cool, good trick.
  7. Pinning down Carl is a matter of understanding his mobility problems. He has Nirvana to limit yours, so his mobility can be horrid without it being obvious at first glance; but it is. Use Dnails to lock him in one spot, but only after you've confirmed that Nirvana won't get in the way AND he has no way to dodge them. Not wasting nails is very critical. Also, A nail dash is hugely helpful for regrounding yourself and to be tricky in your movement. Being unpredictable in movement and momentum is very useful, as Carl can't control nearly as much space as he wants you to believe. In any case where you can poison nail dash (Which is, air dash immediately cancelled by a poison nail; causes you to land much much faster and leads your fall with the nail) and in any way put Carl in blockstun, you should take it, because it completely deactivates Nirvana, causing, obviously, nirvana to not be able to hit you, and wasting his doll meter. Uses only one nail, extremely useful in this matchup. Mostly though, just be extremely patient, the more you force Carl to try to control space, the more meter he doesn't have anymore. If Carl is playing too patient, or even if he isn't, try to get a connected A and C bumper out. The mobility and mixup it grants you is extremely helpful, and he has extreme difficulty hitting you for putting them out if he's full screen. When you're stuck in the sandwich, block. Block well. Hold low block, reaction block his overheads. If you get hit, he's almost surely going to reset you; same deal, reaction block low, but if you notice any of his significant reset notifiers (2D, 3D, 6C) try to react accordingly. Good luck, ask any other questions you might have.
  8. It's too early to tier list makoto yet, and your list exaggerates the bad character's disadvantages, Leonil.
  9. My money matches as far as I remember; Orion Chun Spiritjuice Zong1 Willy Pretzelwolf .. have to check back PS: Orion, it was not that I wasn't encouraging you, it was that I was encouraging willy. I tell you how much you've been improving all the time.
  10. Called it ^_^ Grats Willy. making large improvements.
  11. Ahh ok. Good luck to you, tomorrow. May the most determined win. Personally, not to stir the pot, but my money is on Willy.
  12. Okay, that's what I thought. Then I saw dabbit talking about going or not going and I got confused.
  13. Wait. Do I have to qualify?
  14. ... I want to sig... but can't abandon current sig.. aaaaaaahhhhhh
  15. Yeah, but there's documented proof of Xie doing it before then.
  16. I commentated myself playing a match before Xie was born. Don't gimme that Zong.
  17. Much more epic; Socal Jagi rep money matching Honnou in Jagi mirror.
  18. I doubt Jin is as strong as Lambda or Hazama. Most of his pressure is beaten by intelligent reaction DP or option select grab tech/barrier. After that, he has difficulty doing much. Hazama and Lambda don't have that problem and also have strong zoning games. Past that, their damage is not reliant on corners.
  19. j4C and jC are worlds apart on proration, so don't count on it.
  20. Scott.. I said America AND Japan. Worldjem, I would argue that Litchi has better matchups than Bang does, and that this chart is incorrect in representing a different conclusion
  21. Makes a lot more sense, thanks ^_^
  22. 6C > 6B is impossible though o-o
  23. Also, j4C > 6C > 6B is impossible in all contexts. What did you mean? EDIT: What the FUCK nezu? CH 5A > 6C > j4C > jD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u67uwho-XOs#t=2m
  24. It's being held at Milpitas golfland, on terrible broken arcade sticks Pray you're player 2!!
  25. I dunno Spirit juice. It's way off. The placements are nearly all incorrect by one spot or more, some by many (Arakune in the same tier as Tsubaki is a great way to prove this point), the matchups are absurdly dated (Arakune V Bang = 65 - 35 is a joke, you can see that's not the case by watching match videos in America and Japan, and many others can be shown to be a similar episode), and it is unanimously agreed that Litchi is better than Bang, but Bang is listed as 15 points better on this chart. That's just scratching the surface.
