If you're still running this next Saturday, I'll be up there. My girlfriend got into the hangry & angry fashion show at comiccon which gets done around 1:30. Just about in time to get there for the tourney. I can bring a freemcboot ps2 or at least mem card and a copy of mbaa to run that as a third.

I know me and ed and crew are getting a room. I don't know how many people we have yet but we might be able to fit some nj/ny/zong in there if needed. I'll find out and get back to you.

Unless you have work or shit to do don't worry about it. I don't even get done work till ~6 am anyway. I'll probably end up sleeping till like 5 or 6 then start setting up for like 7. I can get up earlier if guys wanna play earlier but I tend to shoot for afternoon into night time.

Well JP has him now and he seems to be the most hype DLC character by far. Anyone have a chance to play against him offline yet? I played one online it seems like a normal zoning match up. His normals have way more distance than yours at close range. Though a well timed back jump j.6D might stop his close game. His ground super will do the full combo if it hits you. It looks like you have enough time to do Jayoku between the first and second hit. I don't know about doing it on super flash. I saw it beat 720 out of GF on super flash. He steps back at first so that might've been why.

Very true. If you wouldn't mind hosting then by all means. You'll be able to get set up faster than I would as I generally don't wake up until around 5 or 6.

i think ive had the most success just standing outside poke range and waiting for him to iAD at me and punish with 5c/ 214D~B. Any ideas on how to tag one that likes to jump around spamming j.2A? I can't seem to get the timing down for a CH or even a clean hit to fly in on. 6D/j.5D seems to get portaled and he seems to recover too fast and is able to block j.6D/5D.

I think Thursday works for me. Gotta check with the girlfriend first. I can host but only till like 10:30 when I have work. If someone else wanted to host so everyone can play longer then by all means.

My local Haku player would do this. I think I beat him pretty clean with a dash 5c AA into air combo(or 623D to put him in the corner) most of the times he tried it.(i think he traded/ beat me if the j.2a was really close/low) I think 214D~B also scored me a clean counter hit as well.(not sure if i had time to charge for FC) With Hazamas back to the corner and/or meter that could end up with some big damage and corner oki. Haku's j.C felt like it would stuff that or trade most of the time with proper distance. And j.D would beat it too obviously. Also, we're both pretty scrub. So I wouldnt take this to heart.

I'm down lk. I'm off Monday and Saturday nights. And britt has work Monday Thursday and Saturday afternoons. So I know at least those three are free for me.

The day doesn't really matter. I just suggested Friday or Saturday as something to start with. It's generally the days most people with normal schedules are free lol
