jaximuslorez Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 When I play Xrd on my ps3, the voices and soundeffects audio sound normal and loud but even at max and the other 2 audios lessened, the music for the game sounds really soft. Anyone else have this problem or a possible solution?
DRKICK Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Nah dude, I have the same problem. I just wana hear the amazing music but its hard.
Margatroid Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Yeah, I got the PS4 version yesterday and I immediately noticed that the music sounded much louder and clearer.
SoulGuitarist Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 They really bitcrushed the quality of the music for the PS3 version. It uses really low quality mp3. files on PS3. High quality probably wouldn't fit.
jaximuslorez Posted January 1, 2015 Author Posted January 1, 2015 To hear the great music while playing, I have to lower the sound for the voices/sfc and set bgm to max and then increase the volume for my speakers
lili Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I honestly don't have that problem. I hear the music fine.
SoulGuitarist Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I honestly don't have that problem. I hear the music fine. It's not that people aren't able to hear the music. The quality just isn't super great on PS3 version. It sorta sounds like one of those medium quality arcade rips when the game first came out in arcades but a tiny bit more clear. Only a tiny bit though.
ChexGuy Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 the music sounds like a realplayer video. and yeah, I've got the volume maxed out and it's significantly quieter than a few other PS3 games. +R was pretty quiet too but it could go louder.
