Yakifufu Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I've been running into a lot of Ramlethals in ranked matches lately and I'm at a loss of what to do against the good ones. Between her swords and her up close combos she seems to be able to play well at range or up close. Any advice?
Digital Watches Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 If you're in sword lockdown and see an opening, RUN FORWARD. Run FD is a pretty safe option and being out of the area where she can just sword you means you get to tag her with 5P/3P or rensen again for trying to approach you. You can also 2K under a lot of her moves, so look for that as a poke. Use that. When you're at neutral, you want to be at a range where anything she can beat 2K with is too slow. Second best range is the range where you can tag any summon attempt with 5P (Not too far, it slants slightly upward). Remember that big swings with the swords are pretty easy to counter, and counter gets you a knockdown. She's not super good at getting out of pressure, so if you can get ahead, you can win on momentum.
Baf0 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 A general tip against Ramlethal: f.S > Dauro is fake. If they do it on round start, IB f.S then input throw to get your match started with a throw combo.
