  1. Are people really doing that? I know it comes with video game territory but it seems really stupidly petty. At least you don't have to babysit 12 year olds on a mic.
  2. I have no trouble finding ranked matches, but to be fair I've only done 13.
  3. Every room I've been in with people playing stylish I've seen people harassing the stylish mode users for using a crutch.
  4. I've invited people before successfully but sometimes it gives them error messages and inviting across platforms doesn't seem to work well either.
  5. I can help you if you have Xrd Sign. I don't have relevator yet.
  6. There aren't a lot of people online. I have to go to New England 1A to find matches and that sucks because I'm on the west coast. If you'd like to play some rounds send a request to my PSN. Same as my username.
  7. I'm North America. I dunno about the patch problem. If you need to you can hit me up when relevator comes out in a couple of months. The computer's only really good to train against to get a handle of getting a handle of combo practice against something that doesn't stand still. Hit confirming.
  8. Sol's as good a character as any so there's no problem there. I'd suggest you get some practice playing against the computer on the hardest difficulty to practice hit confirms and play some online matches against people so you can learn character matchups. You can also observe other Sols to see if they have any tricks and tactics you'd like to use for yourself. And remember that you'll also have to learn defense so seeing what other people throw at you and how to guard against it. If you don't mind some lag you can hit me up for some games my psn's the same as my username here. Unless you're on PC then nevermind.
  9. Guilty Gear will never be the new street fighter or mortal kombat or whatever. It's a highly complex niche game with an extremely high learning curve so much so that the vast majority of people who like and play it regularly, including myself, aren't all that good at it. There's a barrier to entry that prevents people from getting into the game unless they want to put the time in to learn it and many just don't want to do it. It's unsurprising that it gets dismissed because it has such a small fanbase. And it is small. At any given time playing Xrd online has less than 50 people online in the entirety of North America most times of the day. So instead of of expecting visibility or promotion, the fanbase should probably look to getting a better designed game especially when it comes to netplay.
  10. I can play you if you wish. I only do Axl, but at least that would give you someone to practice against.
  11. Yakifufu. My times I'm on are erratic but I'm interested in joining if I'm available.
  12. I've had this issue rarely but I know how it is. Quitting out of lobby to menu and going back in usually helps me but my problem isn't as bad as yours.
  13. Inputs are getting changed with the next patch so I can only hope that will be fixed.
  14. I do all the time. And for me the main difference between online and offline play is that people offline don't say or do things that will get them punched like the people online playing with a mic.
  15. I disagree strongly with 1 and 2. For 1 it's because combos, spacing, etc. only lets you know what you can do in an opportunity. Much of the game is reacting to what your opponent is doing and playing offline doesn't really help. You need to watch others and play against good opponents to know how to open up combo opportunities and take advantage of openings. And for number 2 it's because I feel that just because something you do gets punished doesn't necessarily mean you need to stop doing it, it's because you need to know when to use it and when not to. Just because a wakeup DP gets punished once doesn't mean you should never use it in a match.
