Jin is frame trap galore but he isn't going to break hakumen's defense unless you are spamming catch or trying to poke every chance you get. You need to pay more attention once he has 25% meter, and timing gets a little more tight, but it's nothing difficult to handle. You are going to have to be more specific as to why you are having trouble (in the form of a video would be helpful). Jin doesn't really have anything that's super good against hakumen, and it's not like you can spam safe moves all day. If you don't go offensive against hakumen, he is eventually going to rip your face off. And if they play even a half way stagnant offense, then you get to spam shit all day if you IB some of it. Again, if you are dead set on playing hakumen online, psychic everything. You don't have a choice. Online play is all about who has the better offense.

I hate playing against Jins who like their "counter attack" , uggh there isn't much to do about them except predicting them. To be honest despite Nu and Arakune, this is my most hated match up with Jin's frame traps.

Izanagi SOL777 Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Well regardless on what it says on the match up chart, In my oppinion I just don't like fighting Jins with Haku-men(learning Haku-men atm). I get punished one too many times with 623C, when I try to strike him. Though after a few matches with my friends yesterday, I found it easier to fight Jin in close quarters...
Sophisticat Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Well, you're just starting out, so get some experience first before going into the details of the match-up. Jin's DP's are punishable with a delicious 6c ch combo. He shouldn't get away for free whiffing those.
Izanagi SOL777 Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Kay, I'm having friends on saturday play with me anyways. One of them is a decent Jin user so I'm going to focus fighting him.. There's a 6c combo? wow I'll check that out, cause I find myself landing 6C sucessfully alot.
