It takes at least 4F before someone is considered off the ground whenever they jump, so simply holding up won't escape a command throw. However, they can escape by using backdash at the right moment (or, as I said, an invincible move). Double posting is the coolest. (But Dai fusing them is cooler) I'm having trouble getting the 4-seal combo on Rachel off of a 6D. I'm assuming it's possible, since it's bunched together with the rest of the combos from Arcadia magazine: 6D, jc j.D, dj.236C, V 6C, j.D, dj.236C, v 5D, jc j.B, j.623B I can't get the 6C, j.D to connect. I can alleviate this by doing a dj.D, but then I lose the ability to do a web nail. Any suggestions?

i tried it out, you can jump before bang's command throw can hit you when you do quick recovery. did you try it out or are you theory fighting?

Going from personal experience in matches, but I haven't tried it in training. The frame data supports it as well, unless the game considers you unable to be thrown on the ground the moment you initiate a jump, even though you don't leave actually the ground for X number of frames. If that's the case (would be silly, but it wouldn't surprise me considering what else they've done with this system) it's not a lost cause; a tk'd command throw catches jumpers.

it's the closest to a normal wakeup situation you can get in BB. if you boil it down to the data, it's a simple wakeup like in every other game -> full invul until you can move again.

Hey, didn't we play a couple player matches together? i think we did a mirror match lol

I'll friend you, we should play some. I never get to play other good Bangs.

Kind of off topic, but, just had to say props to Hitage. Ran into him on PSN randomly, and no wonder he was so damn good against my Bang. And for the person having trouble with nicovideo, just put it through an internet language translator. Sure it's broken English but it's navigable. That's how I do it anyways :v:

I usually use Steel Rain when the opponent is in the corner, but I also use FRKZ right after I use Steel Rain then rush in pressing 6A. If you hit Steel Rain with 12 nails and rush in, it basically does alot.

So, after much messing around, I found a decent use for steel rain.

After any ground combo that ends with 6d, your opponent is forced to neutral tech for quick recovery. Because of this, you can 6d > steel rain and it is guaranteed to be on top of them. Most useful in the corner. But if your enemy is at low health and they have a dp, steel rain makes it so they can't guess on their wakeup, they're forced into high low mixup. It also can't be bursted safely, and it can't be dead angled safely.

Yeah I've done this myself against a Litchi. I knew they were going to try to DP since she has the best in the game, so I threw out steel rain after 6d and won the round because of it... btw. Steel Rain does some pretty strange stuff to 2363214c if you use it during.
