other music References you'd like to see in Guilty Gear?

Hi I was just thinking about all the cool music references in the Guilty Gear series and was thinking I'd love to see more of bands I also loved, like for example I'd love to see a character have an attack named after Coheed and Cambria's album Burning Star IV, something sounds so video game move about it, so what would you guy's like to see?

 

I'd just like to add I know this would never happen due to it being Ishiwatari's baby and don't want people mocking or fighting over music taste, I just thought it be a fun post to geek out about, let me know what other references you'd think would fit in and sound cool, indulgence a little too, no idea too dumb cause this is just for fun.

Uhhh... honestly I am not as big an audiophile as some out there are so I wouldn't know what all references you could even PUT in this game.

 

I think so long as the game references things nobody's heard that are "good" I'd be content with that since it's a nice discovery for unknown bands who don't get much love.

How about Max Calvalera? Get another heavy metal influence in there from Sepultura/Soulfly. Or Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age.

Or just a character representing either band

I'm surprised we don't have a Scorpions reference.

Could also probably have a reference to Iron Butterfly.  Anji would make this pretty easy.

Could use a reference to Pink Floyd if there isn't already one that I don't know about.

 

 

I mean, I figure if there's a reference to ****ing Starship they can reference this stuff.

Wouldn't mind a Tenacious D reference(s). That would be great for Guilty Gear. Hell, Ishi would have a ton of fun making a Jack Black looking motherf**ker with a ton of personality. Although, at worst, he'd probably be that minuscule joke character.

The Black Sabbath song is called Heaven AND Hell, though I wouldn't be surprised if is a double-reference (Like Hammerfall the band and Hammer to Fall the song of Queen for Potemkin's special move)

 

Actually now that I think about it... Why isn't there more guitar equipment references, we have OverDrive as a system mechanic which is a guitar effect, why not Screamer, Distortion, Reverb, Delay, etc?

At least we need move names like "Master Exploder".  Hell, maybe RoboKy's IK can be a cruise missile fired from his crotch and it can be named "Tenacious D" outright.

 

 

Also, why doesn't Eddie bite the other character's shadow's head off during Zato's IK?  Is that one too easy?
