[CT] Iron Tager vs. Noel

not sure if this is all the way accurate, but I've had some experience getting a jump cancel out of drive stun.... seems if noel doesn't really hit you away and make you eat 4k, you can do that much and then some right back to her out of her combos (I lol'd hard when I 720'd out of hitstun against my friends here)

you shouldn't rely too much on your opponents incompetence, if he got you in hit stun he can easily pummel you with more options, air DD's more combo's, taunt, he can do things to you that you won't like, and becareful with MTW that loses to air super.

Tips for when to break through her BnB's would be nice, as her pressure is really killing me. By this, I mean that I'm having trouble finding holes in her pressure to get in a backdash/throw/360/720/MIGHTY-JAB. Especially the throw-cancel combo (not sure what it's called, but it's where she uses a whiffed throw to cancel one of her moves, over and over again). This matchup is almost worse for me then Nu and Arakune.

you can IB punish noel easily and 5b>2c can be 360/720'd without IB. 2A stuff's her j.a and j.b. don't try to throw her too much, she is looking for it, she seems to fall easily for 360's and 720's just pick your spot, sometimes just doing 360A instead of backdash>360A works, i know i had success with it and lately the noel's i've been fighting has been making it hard for me to sandbag. oh and last thing random j.2C's on airborne noel's gives you a free devastating combo. hope i helped here.

This matchup is almost worse for me then Nu and Arakune.

Noel is a matchup that gets signifigantly better offline than online, for the reason of offline its mad easy to IB and punish or at least make them fear the fact you could punish.

Thanks for the advice. I actually try to avoid using surprise j.2C's on her, since she has easy AA against it.

pick your spot, i sometimes use j.2 if i see noel jump in the air, if she IAD's she eats it, but i haven't been playing online alot in weeks so grain of salt.
