Ok, so maybe i'm just learning bb slow, or maybe i've forgotten how to fucking play fighters but jesus christ. I'm definatly not a top player, but i've played guilty for 6 years, i can hold my own with top players just fine, but for the last 5 days it's like nothing i do is right. Is this just part of the process of learning Litchi?? I can handle the combos well enough that if i open someone up they are almost always going ot the corner, I have the basics of the corner mixup down, but jesus christ half the time it's like i struggle like mad to even land a hit on someone, or by the time i do i've ran into so much basic bullshit than i'm down to pixels. Every mediocre ragna, jin, bang, hakumen, you name it i run into, i just get wrecked. I've tried to be disciplined and not jump around like crazy, to try and bait and punish but good god i just suck at it with this character it seems like. Did any of the people who've actually had access to the game for the past 8 months hit this same wall? Do you just have to eat a lot of beatings before you figure out how to actually play Litchi properly? I just dont get how to run the spacing, play the ground game, and open people up. I'm really frustraited because I know i should be playing better than this, and not losing to players who bring the most basic game to the table. Advice, lecture, anything? Anyone?

Before we talk about anything else, are you losing online or offline?

mostly online, however im not including games that were wrecked by lag in this little rant of mine. i dont get upset if input lag jacked up my execution

This is just me but I never take online matches seriously because there's too many things people can get away with that normally wouldn't work offline. But with that said, what kind of "basic" stuff are you losing to?

Indeed, Jin ice and other usually extremely punishable material you can't get away with offline, usually effects a ton of our options. Definitely don't take it too hard, and play a lot more defensively with that kind of crap around.

Yea, I noticed real wuick that Litchi doesn't feel the same unless you have an A connection. Which is sad, cuz I REALLY want the matchup experience, but not everyone has a good enuff connection.

Haha I lose all the time to spammy Noels and Jins due to lag. I try to tsubame or poke during D spammy Noels, but nothing comes out. :( If you're doing combos, I find that it helps to spam the button a few times more than you would normally to make sure the input comes out. :3 This doesn't work in overly laggy games though. :(

I have to agree with OP and Zem; the last few online fights I've had with the boobie lady have proved awful for me. I tell you nothing licks balls worse than being perfected in a round online by a Nu that's only one level higher than you are. Offline in training mode I can pull off her bnbs pretty well, and her higher level combos are coming along slowly but surely. Online though, my rushdown is sluggish, the goddamn DP doesn't activate when I want and I get punished for free. Hopefully when I take in some offline matches I'll see the fruits of my labor but I do wish something would be done about this input lag.

Yeah... recently online I've been getting pushed around a bit, when I can steal one of my friends XBL of PSN accounts anyway. The fact that I can't get some of her strings to go off, or I'll go to tsubame out of pressure and end up just dropping the staff and offering my face to the opponent or something ticks me off, but in general playing offline I'm fine. Stick with the boobie lady and avoid online play as much as possible. ^.^
