GVGguy Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Moving back to the talk about Xrd's soundtrack, anybody had a good listen to Ramblethal's theme? As in the WHOLE theme? Cause I only recognize the intro, though what follows becomes somewhat intelligible due to the quality of the videos I've found that features it. Cause I'm still wondering if it's a full Diva-remix or just features a an intro somewhat similar to Diva's. Cause I'm sure we're all aware now that a lot of the theme's in the game start like their predecessors, only to go their own part shortly afterwards. But this is just me being curious.
TAI-X Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 i think you missed the "in actual gameplay" part(not a disrespectful tone) It's a solid riff on the Herzog Zwei/Sacrifice/Savage model of RTS, with very complex and deep mechanics that demand a lot of the player. It failed because the genre shift was too drastic, Sol and Ky were the only recognizable characters, and the gameplay was extremely unintuitive and difficult to grasp (not gonna deny I have trouble with it). I would rank it above every MOBA out there.

Watching the story footage again, I think it's just the intro that's reminiscent of Diva. The rest sounds totally unrecognizable.

Too bad she's final boss-only so it'll be really hard/impossible to get a rip of that.

GVGguy Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I freaking love Pot's new theme. It's got a mix the original Burly Heart from X and In Slave's Glory, while having a feel to it that fits his new stage perfectly. In short, for me, it's the perfect Potemkin theme.

I honestly did like what I heard of his theme, though all I really need to DO is make a good way to split vocals, because if I remember, both versions of burly heart had English lyrics (JP had Engrish but I can sing it pretty well. Lol)
