I don't think Manny (the guy who's trying to host for gaming) has it for his PS2, but he definitely has it for the Wii (along with a pad and stick), so next time I go there, which will probably be on Friday or Sasturday if you're free, I'll practice those beloved frcs.

doragonkoroshi Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Hey, Eugene. Sorry I haven't been at AL lately. Maybe I'll be up at WSU tomorrow since there's a quaker going on. Anyway, play more GG. Play less BB. They're updating the console version anyway, so playing CS right now is useless. Also, in previous GGs before AC, when you threw tech attempts, the combo meter kept going. Anyway, point is that GG is not BB, and while burst throwing is good, it's more because you rendered their burst attempt useless than it is that you combo into it. Also in most cases, you have to cut your combo short in order to burst bate. Throwing out of stagger usually isn't the best option either, unless you're worried that they might shake out before you can continue the combo. Training isn't the same as actual playing, but you can set up a lot of situations that you encounter in real matches using training mode, and thus learn how to escape pressure strings, or how to punish certain moves. Eric, he probably shouldn't have just popped in here randomly and asked that, but don't let him get on your nerves.

(everything) On the other hand I at least know the basic combos of other character. Realize I am no where near Ohio atm.
Kamui Moon Posted April 16, 2010 Author Posted April 16, 2010 hos is pretty straightforward. and i think matt should be able to show you his basic mixup from playing me. don't try and learn everything at once either. you'll fry your brain out in a matter of minutes because there's too much to take in. work on things one at a time and work them into your overall game. +play alot.

Well I take in Knowledge quite well. Just a matter of how much of it i remember. I am sure this is bad but when I expect a low I FB. Seems to be working for me so far. I shall later tonight Matt.

Played some Guilty (it feels weeeiiird on a Wii Classic Controller) and also had some lol's at Hokuto no Ken and Third Strike. You gotta make it over one of these days (he sets them up Fridays at 7 til whenever)
