Rob/Eric, I probably ain't gonna be able to come this Thursday. Problems with the SRK Cleveland/Ohio people are giving me homicidal tendencies. Might just cut myself off from them as a whole. I don't know why they insist on having big egos when they can't even win their own tournaments. It's a shame, ain't it?

I've been kinda thinking of that idea since the first night we played BlazBlue at Mannys and saw all the needless discrimination (at least you don't like it for gameplay reasons...), but I never had opportunity. TBQH outside of you guys, Edgar, Manny, Gary, Kelly, and other people who's names I can't remember, I never really liked anybody up there anyway. I already didn't like Harmon. Apparently I'm the Dark Geese of Ohio now so... yeah. Wasn't trying to make it a huge deal, I just wanted input but that's treason I guess. People wonder why the Midwest is so fucking free.

Haha, yeah. You're one of the cool guys, too. I mostly like all of the guys there. Except for, like, Rob Khonsu because he compares fighting games to Unreal Championship and Quake Live. (Wtf). Those other guys are alright. I guess Matt, too, since he's been trying to incorporate almost everything into Konsole Kombat, including BlazBlue and other genres such as FPSs. He and I just started off on the wrong foot.

The people that you named are, like, regulars anyway. Like I said, the people who tried to get under your skin are either nearing their midlife crisis or live 2 1/2 hours away.

It's nothing, really. In a nutshell, the fact that there really is a Cleveland scene is because of SFIV. There are some of us who like and are dedicated to other games (especially the OGs, with their Tekken and Marvel, not that I don't enjoy those games), and tried to introduce these games to the community. But alas, they sort-of ignore us, so it's like 3 of us playing Guilty Gear, 3 of us playing BlazBlue, and 5 guys having random lulz at KOF games.

I'm not complaining about it since, I too, play SFIV, but I just wanted to give these games a chance in the spotlight, you know? After all, BlazBlue is still a fresh game and the main reason why GG's community is small, but strong, is that the players are so dedicated to it. I want to get better at all these games, including SSFIV and the aforementioned titles

Going to be playing through Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VIII for these next two days.

Thanks, Eric. Ps1 Memory Cards do work on Ps2, but I wouldn't mind having those old-school PSXs. I miss those. Lmao. Reminds me of the ol' days where I used to speed-run Crash Bandicoot 2. C:

Shit, I had to buy an old PSX to play Chrono Trigger, FFVIII, etc. PS2 wouldn't load PS1/CD based PS2 games anymore. You can put PSX data onto a PS2 memory card (I have FFVII and CT backed up on there iirc) but you can't load from them. Got so much PSX shit, but no games since most of mine from childhood either broke, got scratched up, or lost. I even had GG1 apparently since I came across the manual once, don't remember ever playing it though.

Chrono Trigger was horrible on the PSX. The load times between.... everything, were unbearable. I still played through it, though. It was pretty exciting, and it still is.

I'm trying to dig through my shit and see if I could find my copies of FFVIII. No avail. I'm sad. =(
