clockmongler Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Hay~ And you're welcome! But man, that was so long ago (I mean like. Probably five years ago), I don't even know if I can find the source anymore. I know it was a Japanese fansite back before they all started shutting down and that's about it. D: Sorry!
Soothesayer Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 So wait, Justice is American? 0_o That would explain the red, white, and blue...the name too even.
pktazn Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Oh she really is? I totally thought they were just making fun of Americans by having her in all her Justice glory destroy Japan as a discreet way of... I dunno. I just thought it was ironic lol.
Circuitous Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Pretty sure Aria/Sol/That Man/The Gear Project were all American or U.N. (which pretty much makes it American).
Soothesayer Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 It's not outright stated, but going from Blade's posted timeline it seems pretty reasonable. I don't think I can see Justice without an America joke coming to mind anymore. Funny how the U.S ends up screwing the world over.
Circuitous Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Cutting-edge applied magic research -- in an American semi-state-operated research institute the brains of three energetic, up-and-coming youths get together. I feel validated.

But America is also responsible for the world being saved (Sol) so it evens out.
Blade Posted February 28, 2010 Author Posted February 28, 2010 'A certain major country' doesn't literally point to Justice' origins, just where the Gear armies are distributed. Justice was the result of the archtype, like a recipe for Gears. I don't think nationality would apply to Gears unless they had a 'Made in A-Country/Zepp' tattoo on them somewhere. Besides that, there's no solid info as to where Gear plants are located, so Justice could have been converted anywhere, aside of mass-produced models. It sounds like she was That Man's private pet-project.
wonetrack1 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 very nice GG story answers..but i have a question for the Game GGXXAC+ i need all the gallery artwork and i have 149/164 Can u help?
Blade Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 Oioi...if you're gonna ask a question, ask about the plot...gaming related stuff could be directed to general questions threads. And I think I answered this question a few seconds ago in GG General.
Blade Posted April 2, 2010 Author Posted April 2, 2010 Jeez, I almost forgot to download that Night of Knives webpage! Thanks again clockmongler. I'll work on the dialogue laterz. Also, though I posted them in the GG Fanart thread, I figure it might be good to post them here: http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/087/4/6/GGR__2014_2016_by_darkside_ky.jpg http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/087/2/7/GGR__2073_2074_by_darkside_ky.jpg I'll be making more of them later.

farranpoison Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Oh hey, Flament Nagel's past is connected to Slayer? Goddamnit, there needs to be more stuff like this. A good plot shows connections between characters, and GG needs more of it.
Blade Posted April 12, 2010 Author Posted April 12, 2010 Read my notes on Night of Knives in some posts above.
Pete278 Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 So, what happens to Eddie at the end of GGXXAC+? I haven't had enough time to play through the game multiple times with multiple characters to figure out which are the canon endings.
clockmongler Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 So, what happens to Eddie at the end of GGXXAC+? I haven't had enough time to play through the game multiple times with multiple characters to figure out which are the canon endings. Eddie actually has two endings in AC+: One where he fights Millia and, regardless of the fact that you win, he still ends up dying and tells Millia to remember him so he can "keep living" though her memories. The second ending has him running into Venom and somehow evolving out of being a parasite and becomes a self-sustained... nightmare-fuel thingy. Due to one of Millia's endings correlating to the former ending, I'd say that one's canon and his second one is bunk.
Blade Posted April 18, 2010 Author Posted April 18, 2010 Regarding what is and isn't canon...I'd just like to point out that even if something seems like it's bunk, small aspects of it may still hold water if you catch my meaning. For example: in many of Chipp's endings, he either ends up helping someone on the side, or is told to go help those in need. One of which is trying to calm Baiken down, or team up with Potemkin...he could do any number of things. And...in a word: Faust.
VonEagasta Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Regarding what is and isn't canon...I'd just like to point out that even if something seems like it's bunk, small aspects of it may still hold water if you catch my meaning. And...in a word: Faust and Robo Ky Fixed.

While this is very true, I'd still like to point out that in this case the options are very black and white. It's either he dies or he doesn't. I'm not saying there couldn't have been things happening in between or any other endings are this stark in contrast, but it's pretty safe to say one ending is, in fact, bunk. /delayed reaction, hi there.
