FlyMike Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Well Mel, the thing I can't wrap my head around is when you made this post: ggs to myself Sunday; twas fun... As if there wasn't a full-fledged tournament happening like 5 minutes walking distance from the place where you typed said post. Even if you didn't enter anything, again, there still were plenty casuals going on. You made it as if you didn't have a choice to participate at all. Which you did, and you chose to have ggs with yourself. One more thing to mention is your refusal to seriously or faithfully move past GG to other games that are actually engaged in an active scene. Your loyalty to GG is commendable, I can't ever knock that. But it is also faulty in the sense that it is hypocritical, you "wasting time to be apart of a gaming community" when that community has all but completely center on one particular game that you will not allow yourself to truly immerse yourself in. And it comes across as you using GG as a crutch somewhat. A symbolic excuse to justify your "wasted time" because you know the chances of GG being played at recent gatherings are next to none. It will be unfortunate if you did indeed feel the need to GIVE UP before you've made a lasting mark or won a tourney in your respective game(s), but I don't think anyone will attribute it to lack of encouragement or opportunity.

I've being going through all kinds of crap physically and mentally not to mention I've been feeling kind of loopy all week due to medicine I've been taking since I've been sick. These things contributed to me making those posts which I now need to clear up. Gen - No one here plays Gear anymore and I haven't practiced in forever but my skill in the game will most likely remain the way it is now which isn't too bad. I'll definitely be down to play though whenever. Boss - I understand what you're saying but I need to clear up some things. First of all if I don't answer my phone then I'm either sleep or busy. I don't just ignore calls. Second there have been gatherings where I wasn't informed but I don't expect for someone to let me know every time there is a gathering especially without me having transportation so I don't hold that against anyone. I actually would call people for games but no one ever wanted to which is the reason I stopped. Also there was only one time I said I didn't feel like doing anything and that was the Sunday of the tourney since that was when I really started getting sick. If people are fed up with me then that's fine, cause like I said before I realize that it's annoying to have to transport someone around all the time but that should be changing soon. Mike - I had no idea where the tournament was but that was my fault. It wouldn't have mattered much anyway though because like I said before that was when I started getting sick. But you're completely wrong about your next point though. I haven't even been bringing up, much less complaining about people not playing Gear since T6 came out. I even told people how much I liked T6 and how I'd been training really hard; something I haven't done in any game since Gear. That's not saying that I don't care about Gear anymore, but I did infact seriously move on to T6 as soon as it came out. Bottom line is; yes I still want to be part of the community and not only that; I want to become a beast in Tekken 6. I am currently trying to get my transportation issues taken care of; which will alleviate a lot of stress, because I really need to get out of the house more.

I haven't been able to participate for a while, been going between homeless and not homeless this semester, and my grandpa passed away. It's been really rough, and I've been considering quitting school. I'm back though now, I guess. Lots of things have changed. For example, Ryan is now a beast in T6 and shits on niggas daily. I am now a transgender amputee, with a lisp.

So you're saying had you came to Las Delicias tourney you would've entered T6? This is part of what I was trying to get at. You not reppin May at Inevitable 09 made me want to blow you away like those Pokemon in that tunnel/cave. This is petty though. You aint going into exhile. I want to see some rich white girl THIS WEEK, or else I'm telling Jared. Marcel, really sorry to hear about all that bro. We'll talk later for sure. But tell Ryan to come to the lion's den. A "beast"? Scenario mode right? Lol! j/k. Seriously, get him out to a humble gathering. ;-)

I whooped on Ryan and he said, "I've played way tougher and better competition......ONLINE!" I loled my whole way back home after hearing that.....U of M players are so terrible....... Gen - I'm still the #1 Espada and still a beast in GG. Whenever you wanna get a beating, then just ask!!!!
