I all honesty, if someone really IS serious about this game, they WILL find this site and they WILL find this thread, as DL is currently the best source for BB info and it'll pop up on any kind of google search you do. I found this place and this thread because I had an interest in the game and I did my research. No one told me where to go. This place is NOT hard to find. Theres probably lots of people who "play" the game, but to what extent? Seriously, I've talked to a few people on facebook, people I know through other people who said they were fans of the series...only to hear that that only played "for the story." ...srsly? The only serious people I've found are through this thread, and as Kurokun said, they don't post often...which is why I end up thinking "Why should I post either?" In all honesty any "scene" here (serious players) I'll wager, does indeed consist of the few people who post here...the ones who found this place of their own accord because they have a true interest in the game. You can't MAKE someone be serious about a game. We could go around pushing it, but in all honesty I don't know how well that would work. Quite frankly, I agree with Kurokun on all his SADLIFE posts at this point. If you're upset about the lack of scene here all I can say is go visit places or move to a place that HAS one. I know thats not really an option for most, but at the same time it's just how things are at the moment...
Mystic d Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Personally, I really don't see the scene in Hawaii expanding because of the lack of an arcade cab. The BB scenes in the US aren't very large to begin with, so it's understandable that Hawaii doesn't have a large scene. We have 3-5 people who play the game. I don't mind meeting with these 3-5 people when I come back for breaks just to get some casuals in. You just gotta take what you can get. 3-5 people is a small amount, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't meet to play. What we do here in NorCal is a monthly ranbat on the first Saturday of every month. We play BB, GG, MB, and a couple other games. Of course, there are a lot more people, but it's basically just a huge "hangout" day. I'd suggest trying to get together once a month with as many of the BB players as you can and try to get some regular gathering started. Even if it's only 3 people, then so be it, but just enjoy it. PS. Everyone trolls in forums.

I'd probably still get the import version of AH3 for PS3 though, lol. Hmm... Apparently, there is some sort of voting thing going on at Capcom Unity for the possibility of added chars as DLC in MvC3, for both the Capcom/Marvel rosters. Maybe some other fan favorites and hopeful choices for either franchise will still have the opportunity to make it in the roster after all?

But this is Mahvel, the only game which having that feeling is okay. My team is Dorm, Doom, Super Skrull.
