Are there many monsters in Hawaii? If so, I shall go get my gear and hunt them. ( ・`ω・´)

There are Kelbi and Bullfango in Hawaii.

I am hunting monsters all over the world.

A Village Chief in the Philippines has a request for hunters to hunt large crocodiles.

DO YOU ACCEPT THIS QUEST?

Took the words right out of my mouth.

I will be addressing some GG stuffs soon...

Probably at the start of the next page (default post count/page view), lol.

Around 6pm. But the hype Johnny mirrors happen late at night when the BB players go to sleep.

Probably will stop by on Friday. Anyone play Melty? I wanna play some Melty tomorrow.

And when did we get CS2 cabs? Last I checked Fun Works there was none(sunday). Saw Akureikaze there tho.

Late night GG is HYPE.

You saw Akureikaze? Did you tell him that you and I played some Melty (and that it was HYPE) when I flew up to Oahu, back in June?

It looks alright...

> Does not see any Aigis gameplay...

WTF?! I see Yukiko and Kanji, who haven't really been officially announced, but no Aigis? SMH.

RE: My POV on teaching GG stuffs

On the subject of me possibly teaching GG stuffs, my interest in doing so has considerably waned over the last few years, mainly due to past experiences which have left me jaded to some extent.

However, I would probably consider some sort of teaching/mentoring role (though reluctanly/hesitantly) if the following criteria were met:

- People have to already be playing GG on their own accord.

- People really have to have a genuine/sincere interest in wanting to learn/play GG.

- People really have to express that they want to learn/play GG.

- People really have to put in the time and effort to learn/play GG.

This determines whether I decide to take you seriously or not, otherwise it will be a waste of everyone's time and effort.

I don't know what Bears' stance is in regard to possibly teaching GG stuffs...

For all I know, he could probably share the same sentiment, lol.

Some experiences that make me reluctant to teach GG to other people:

*Recalls when I tried to get some Hilo peeps into GG, they flaked out on me.*

*Recalls a gaming experience with a scrub GG fanboy that said he "knew how to play GG", which then led to beatdowns in which he was hella FREE.*

*Recalls commuting to Hilo (100 mile trip/2 hour drive) to play casual matches against the scrub GG fanboy, which were a waste of time cause he didn't put much effort into practicing and sessions became more training mode and less actual match play. I called him out on it and put him on BLAST, in public.*

Self-explanatory, but I could tell the story (LSS version via points) in another post if people actually want to hear it, lol.

Another one is the "ihpsta arc" of the DL 808 thread.

Basically, he was someone that was somewhat interested in GG but didn't really put that much effort into learning/playing GG, especially since that someone:

- Had trouble picking a main and sticking with them long enough to possibly learn that char. (Though Bears and I gave him suggestions to his questions, it was ultimately up to him to decide for himself and follow though with his char choice, which he didn't.)

- Didn't really play much GG when it was present at HVGL stuffs when Bears and King33 were there. (IIRC he mostly played SF4 and was, "Too scared to play Bears at GG.")

- Didn't play me at GG when I flew up to Oahu for a weekend. Missed out on the HYPE. (Bears and I played GG though and it was HYPE. So was DB.)

- Says that he's:

thrown in the towel for bb in favor of gg.

- IIRC he only played one actual GG match. ONE SINGLE MATCH ONLY. (Also didn't even use his 'main' at the time too.)

- After that and AFAIK he never played GG again, much less post up in the DL 808 thread ever again, lol. (Waipahu too far...)

The 'teaching' aspect is another thing entirely. I'm self-taught; that is, I learned/developed my skillset/mindset on my own. No one really taught me how to play FGs here in Hawaii, so I basically learned/researched/practiced stuff by myself with whatever resources were available to me. Because of that, I think I have developed a particular and distinct POV based on all the time and effort I put into learning/playing GG. That POV also affects my outlook when it comes to FG scene stuffs, in Hawaii anyway. Outside of Bears for some FG stuffs, I've more or less flown solo in my FG ventures, besides some brief periods of time when there was a similar interest in a FG between others and myself, though limited and always fleeting.

If you guys/girls are actually interested in wanting to learn GG and play GG with us (myself and Bears), you kinda have to prove it, hence the criteria part. Wanna try out GG? Ask Bears to bring his GG set-up to HVGL the next time he decides to go down and visit. No PS2 stick/controller? Ask Bears if you can use his stick (I think HVGL Jeff might have a PS2 stick there plus a PS2 and a copy of GGAC to play, as well as controllers) and try stuff out. Have questions about some GG stuff? Ask us here in the thread (or even in the GG forums if you decide you want to get serious with GG.) This is just a list of some of the things you can do in the meantime, but if you decide that you want to get serious with GG, you're probably gonna have to get your own PS2 stick(modded or stock)/controller + copy of GGAC + PS2.

In the end, it's up to you if you really want to learn/play GG.

Yeah, gotta get them out of the water when they hide using some sonic bombs~ Maybe bring some frogs so you can fish them out, get some free hits.

I'll make sure to bring materials for making some shock traps and pitfall traps, too. ( ・`ω・´)

I don't wanna attract any large Piscine wyverns. Gotta avoid that hip check hitbox.

The croc will probably act like a Narga on land. Maybe even do the Lavasioth 'land shuffle.'

I imagine the croc is just a texture swap of the Royal Ludroth, except with different moves and a bite. I think I got this, I can handle it. I plant the pitfall trap and you get the Large Barrel Bombs ready! Gotta break the head for a chance for a croc ruby!
